Visited Friday night in October. We arrived slightly early so were offered a drink and a seat outside under the gas burners. Unlike a recent review we picked a bottle of the Argentinian Malbec and started on it outside while waiting, horses for courses I...More

I had a very pleasant evening here. Not intending to drink a whole bottle of wine by myself, I asked for and received an apparently honest (unenthusiastic) appraisal of the house wines. My waiter, keen to please, cautiously suggested the Argentinian Malbec. No offence ntended,...More

Very authentic Parisian (or just plain French) bistro in the theater district of London. Very correct traditional cuisine, all prepared to perfection. Very reasonable prices, with a special low-priced prix fixe menu early. Reasonable prices on wine. Charming service.

I used to frequent this Brasserie a great deal when my office was round the corner. We booked a table for lunch there the other day, and, to my amazement, the same manager was at the helm, and he recognised me and we hugged and...More

I ate there twice while I was in London. Beautiful little brasserie in Soho, with beautiful views over the neighborhood. The service was great, especially from our French waiter. The food was really good. We have the steak one day and then the burger. They...More

Lunch date with London based friends. Their choice. Great choice. Friendly staff. Great service. Set lunch menu with a la carte quality. Fine wine. And London prices we'd happily pay in Edinburgh - superb value. Grilled mussels served in an escargot dish, each nestling in...More

Service in this particular restaurant is pleasant but incredibly slow. It took 45 minutes before they took our orders. When the food came it was an "acceptable" standard (if you do not mind steak with gristle). And then when we were the only people left...More

Monday early evening, the restaurant was quiet. Service was attentive, the food was very good and at a fixed price of £14.90 for 2 courses we thought it was good value. Recommended for a return visit.

I think at 6.30 it will not be noisy as French people tend to eat later, by the way I am French, and if you ask them for a table in the e trance it will be more quiet than in the main room
