When you are exploring the sights in the Notting Hill area, stop by the De Amicis Ristorante for a good Italian meal in a nice area. Good food and nice service.

This really is one the hidden gems of London, superb food and excellent service and staff. Having lived in Italy for many years this is what I have been looking for in London - an authentic Italian trattoria with excellent food and drink. I cannot commend it highly enough.

Great service, chill atmosphere and good food. They made the best pizza bun I have had in ages! Easy to find too.

My boyfriend is Italian so he should know good food when he sees it! It was a great little place, the waiter spoke perfect English and Italian (not that it matters, but I thought it was pretty cool). This restaurant was full of people. It's simple food just emphasises the easy but amazing way Italian food is made. 5/5

This restaurant deserves to do better. We live close by and while Zizzi is often packed, De Amicis, which is better, cheaper and friendlier, can be quite quiet. We went in to De Amicis when - exactly as above - Zizzi was busy and the waiters were typically rude and brusque about a table for 4. Three of us had... More

My husband and I used our Taste card to eat here whilst staying in a hotel a few minute's walk away. It was midweek so was not full, but we booked ahead to notify them that we had a Taste card. On arrival we were met by friendly staff and our staters arrived promptly as did our mains and puddings.... More

Came back here for dinner again and the quality and care that goes into every order shows. Marco the owner even prepares some of the entrees himself and you can tell by the way he takes time out to chat with his customers, it is like being in a big family. Try the Entrecote alla Pizzaiola, i wish someone in... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
