We arrived in London late and were hungry. We were turned away twice before being welcomed with open arms to De Amicis. The service was superb and the food was quite good. In particular the fried bait fish and the chicken Parmesan made my evening....More

We went there with my wife and the staffs were friendly but unfortunately the waitress did not understand much english. However she did her best to deliver a good customer service and she did it!! Food not really amazing but we would recommend it!

Happened by De Amicis on our way to the hotel and decided to go back for dinner. Atmosphere is like a small Italian café with tables closely set together, a small, but cozy area that was welcoming. We were greeted and sat immediately by a...More

We found the food to be simple and well cooked. Its a family run restaurant ,not one of an anonymous chain. The daily specials are good value. The service is friendly if sometimes erratic. House wine is good value. Try and get a booth if...More

Horrible Pizza! The ham was sooo old and the dough terribly dry. I have traveled the world for the true Neapolitan pizza. This one is just an insult to the name pizza. I had a ham mushroom and cheese and the ham was also old...More

Ate there a couple of weeks ago and the food was excellent. I recommend the asparagus. The staff were very knowledgeable and recommended an excellent bottle of wine. Going again next week.

If you're headed to the theatre, grab a bite at DeAmicis Ristorante Italiano beginning at 5:30. Delicious pasta and a glass of wine served quickly. It gets very busy later, proving its good value and popularity as a neighborhood restaurant.

Our third visit to this place was just as rewarding as the first two. The place was buzzing, nearly full, but the service was attentive and warm. We really enjoyed the lasagne (my wife) and the chicken in brandy sauce with mushrooms (myself). Will go...More

This restaurant is just down Bayswater from a hotel I often stay at, so I was hoping it could be a regular spot for when I fancy Italian. The small restaurant had reasonable decor and ambiance and the menu interesting. I ordered the soup of...More

What you love about Italy is here in Notting Hill. This storefront restaurant offers the charm, warmth, and friendliness of the Italians as well as their unsurpassed cuisine in a dining room that is welcoming to all. The menu is classic Italian, with starters of prosciutto and melon, pizzas, pastas like traditional lasagne al forno, main of veal piccata in butter and lemon sauce, and pudding of zabaglione for two. Linger over a bottle of wine and then the superb coffee. The decor is low-key and comfortable and they won’t throw you off the table if you’re enjoying a long meal.
