We came here for a special occasion but found the food pretty average. All courses were generally under seasoned. The prices were also incredibly expensive for what we had. On the whole, pretty disappointing.

This is the second time we have visited this small unassuming restaurant for lunch. It's definitely on the pricy side but the portions are generous and the dishes always freshly prepared. I could have posted a picture of my fresh squid ink linguine with calamare,...More

Delicious, authentic Italian- the entree and pasta was some of the best i have had in London. Definitely pricey, but i feel the quality of food warrants the price tag. Portions could be slightly larger.

Visiting from overseas, we returned to this restaurant quite happily, and were not disappointed. We were with locals, who knew the owner, so we were confident all would be well. And so it was. I see others complaining about the price - but I thought...More

The restaurant from outside seemed one of those family run restaurants. Small, cozy, and meeting you with a smile and friendly behaviour. However: 1. Tables are so small. You wouldn’t dare to order 2/3 starters, bottle of wine, bottle of water and 4 glasses for...More

The food at Isola del Sole is great, the pasta is fresh and sauces are delicious and authentic, however the serving sizes are certainly not authentically Italian. We had the bruschetta, ravioli and the boar ragu and honestly, they all should have been double the...More

We were four of us meeting for a special birthday. The restaurant was empty and not a nice atmosphere. The anti pasti was grisely and was not worth the price. The three of us ordered Ravioli and I ordered Tagliatelli. When the dish arrived I...More

Food was great. I had burrata which was served with speck, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes and then home made ravioli with porcini mushrooms which was absolutely delicious and home made like mummy would do. Staff was fantastic too. The environment is nice and quiet with...More

This was our second visit and it still has wonderful and delicious food in a delightful small setting. Service was pretty decent too. Would thoroughly recommend for a great night out, when not wanting to stray too far. The food was very fresh and well...More

Isola del Sole is the door to the Mediterranean in south-west London. With fresh and daily-made pasta, an array of flavours and the rich passion of life in every dish, this little Sardinian jewel is enough to make you feel like you're dining out by the Italian coast rather than by the bustling sounds of Putney. We are open Monday to Saturday, lunch and dinner.
