This small Indian restaurant is near the South Kensington Station, an upclass (expensive) London area. However, prices are reasonable and selection quite full, with vaious "hot & spicy levels". My wife & I had minimal spices but enjoyed curry, while my colleague went for the spicy. We were all pleased and had a great evening out together.

I cannot beging to tell you how bad the food is. The aloo chaat is basically a small bowl of aloo sabji and the paneer was bland. I wanted to cry thats how bad the food was. The waiters stand near you staring out the window which makes you feel uncomfortable. The place is dead and really bad service The... More

Always friendly service, and excellent, tasty food. Prices very reasonable for central London. One of the best venues for food in South Kensington.

I see a lot of mixed reviews for this place. My wife and I visited in February mostly because it was close to our hotel and it wasn't anywhere near as busy as some of the restaurants on the Exhibition Rd pedestrian plaza. Service was prompt and polite. The food was quite good. My wife doesn't like too much spice... More

Authentic curries and traditional Indian food in the heart of south Kensington. Unprofessional service. You first get welcomed with open arms but when you order your food and seated you not acknowledged.I call three different waiters who passed by me and no one even responded or looked at me. At the end I had to shout loud excuse me to... More

Stopped in here on the way home after a show at the Royal Albert Hall. Hadn't read the reviews so this is an unbiased review based on our visit. Service was pleasant enough, maybe not over the top friendly but polite and efficient given the restaurant was filling up pretty quickly (probably a lot of people doing the same thing).... More

I went here with 2 girlfriends. The waiter quite quickly realised that we would take ages to order as we were talking so much. He was very patient! He also checked with me that I really did want the 'Very Spicy' option- I did. The food was ok.

Butter chicken tasted horrible, tasted like the food had been dropped on the floor and given to us. Starter was ok

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
