Me and my girlfriend came for afternoon tea before a massage expecting a very lovely experience. Working in customer service many things caught my attention from arrival to dining which pretty much made the experience less and less worthwhile. From the entrance, into the restaurant...there was no staff to greet us or take us to our table. It wasn’t until we got to the dining area where we were met by a member of staff, brought back to the reception (which isn’t very easily seen) and waited for the member of staff to finish assigning tables to then seat us. Upon seating us all seemed to be lovely. We ordered our tea from the waitress (who seemed either new or had a lack of confidence). Both of us ordered the Rosehip and hibiscus herbal tea. After she brought the tea, she had a quick discussion with her colleague who then brought us milk for the herbal tea..... Anyways, the afternoon tea came. Pretty decent in size. I could not help to notice the long unnatural nails on one of the servers which seemed against unhygienic in most restaurants. During the time we were eating I wanted to ask a server about the scones I thought we would get. There was no one around for at least 10 mins. Either way we finished up our food and looked to ask for the bill. Again, no one anywhere to be seen for 10-15 mins. We eventually paid then left. Truly expected better from a Radissons. The customer service needs work.More

Dated menu not up to date with the modern world. vegetarian choices from the 80's with goats cheese on everything. they do one boring vegan dish egg-less pasta in a thick sauce and that is 1 dish for ever the exact same dish every day...so if you are vegan and stay more than 1 day be repaired for a long walk some where else for food. They do a Sunday roast with a vegetarian option of veggie sausage but then cook the potatoes in duck fat, even most meat eaters wouldn't eat duck fat if they see how the ducks it comes from are kept. We ordered the mushrooms for a starter, they came stone cold. I had the vegan option for a main as the veggie ones were not to my taste, this vegan option was supposed to be cherry tomatoes and peppers in a sauce, it was how ever a big bowl of just a thick sticky sauce way to think for a pasta dish and no more than two bits vegetables were found in the whole dish, my mrs skipped the main as there was nothing for her on the menu, she went straight to desert that was supposed to be Eaton mess, it wasn't it was a bowl of raspberry sauce with a scoop of ice-cream in the middle and a circle of meringue on top. We did discus the menu with a member of staff, it IS 2020 we should not still be having to tell restaurant staff that vegetarians "DO NOT EAT FISH"More

I attended last week Sunday (8th December) just to have a few drinks at the bar with a friend and received such amazing service. Not only was the cocktails so tasty the barman was so polite and friendly (Stephen I believe his name was). Even...though he had other customers he managed to make us feel special. I almost wanted him to pull up a chair and drink with us as he was such a joy to talk to lol. Overall I had such a great evening and I will be coming back over the Xmas/NY period with some friend's.More
