After all this month in lockdown, finally i was able to meet my friends at brigadiers, the food was delicious and the service was perfect, Amin looked after us very well and helped us choosing the perfect dishes… The bbq wings were just perfect, with...a lovely sauce and paneer lettuce cups light and full of flavours, as main we had the goat shoulder, one of the best dishes that we ever tried and a couple of more dishes. For sure coming back soonMore

Great service and good food. We ordered the butter chicken wings as one of our starters. Would definitely recommend these as it was one of the best wings I’ve had from an Indian restaurant. Kebabs were as good as a normal Indian restaurant but triple...the price! Mains were average . Some of the food was different but not excellent in taste. Overall for the price, probably not worth it as you can go to another Indian restaurant and enjoy the food the same.More

I have knocked the restaurant rating down to a 2 out of 5 to make a point, because no matter what I think of the food (which would have been a 4 star by the way), I am not sure why the restaurant felt it...was “above” other establishments that the staff did not need to wear some sort of protective equipment, when they are exposed to all the customers, all day and handling all the food / drinks... putting aside the medical / scientific view on masks, do it, as it may work and also can help customers feel better... not to mention try and protect the staff... no? Though there was alcoholic hand sanitiser in many places. No social distancing between tables either. Food was very good. Lots of options and brilliant flavours, though I question whether the prices are justified; in my view that would also depend on the quality of the food used in cooking. The garlic naan bread was particularly good here, not too oily and nice and fluffy (not burnt) and it went well with the various dishes. Service was average. The staff at the front desk were kind and friendly. The waiter was friendly too but completely ignored a drinks order. So again room for improvement to justify the standard 12.5% (if I recall right) service charges being added to bills. I have already commented on the restaurant’s apparent stance to covid on the day I visited and, as I say, had it not been for this I would rate it higher. Not sure if they have changed their approach since August 2020...More

A very good welcome and we were shown to our table which was quite a large booth with two tables but the other table was not used due to covid I expect. There were only two of us and it would be perfect for 4...or 6. We chose to have the Festive Feast as we couldn't be bothered to read the whole menu and like to go for the tasting menus anyway. We didn't even look what was on the Festive Feast menu! We started with pappadums and chutney which were excellent and then the food just kept coming. As we finished each dish, there were usually more than one or two on the table at a time, it was taken away and something. We did have to do a little work before starting to eat, we had to choose 1 course that had a choice of things. It was 1 per person so we chose two and shared them both. I then spotted an extra dish, Tandoori Lamb Chops, there was no attempt to 'sell' the extra dish at all but I said we would have it. All the food was excellent. There was nothing we did not like, be it a meat dish or a vegetable dish. As ever with a top Indian the meats were very well cooked so they were tender and flavoursome. Service throughout was also excellent, explaining each dish as it was put on the table, at least we know what we had chosen then! We have been to quite a few of the top Indian restaurants in London now, finding them all excellent, and this is certainly one to include on anyone's list.More

Went hear for dinner on a Friday night, had pre-booked about a month in advance. Would HIGHLY recommend booking as can't imagine they have any "on the door" availability. Very easy to find, and staff at reception were very friendly and guided us to our...table in the 'main' part of the restaurant. A slightly dim lit restaurant, which adds to the ambience of it being a army mess bar style place. They have screens dotted around which also shows the live football (without commentary). One of us has a nut allergy which the waiter asked about before taking any food orders, which then meant any dish that came she was clear about which had nuts and which didn't - very helpful! We had the duck samosas, chicken wings, aloo tokri chaat, and masala scallops to start. Aloo tokri chaat was packed with flavour, really well presented too (as were all the dishes). The duck samasos and chicken wings were equally flavoursome. For mains we then had a mixed grill, but asked them to make it for 3 of us instead of 2 as per menu - this wasn't a problem. We also ordered a side of chaat masala chips, which were fantastic! Really tasty! The mixed grill was heavy, lots of meat, with the lamb chops and and sheek kebabs the stand out. We also had a few beers with our meal, and they were served in a 2/3 stemmed pint glass which had a nice feel to it. Their beer selection is unique so wouldn't expect your run of the mill beers here, which is a good thing. Overall, great experience, been on the hitlist for a while - would recommend.More

1.travelled from Northampton with family , were running late ,British rail problems , staff was helpful and accommodating 2.4 th time at this place ,first time with family, is this place family friendly , yes without doubt. 3 Food , errr a bit difficult to...stay there were moments of gastronomic delight and then !Disappointment .Shashlik Paneer sizzler for example , it wasn't a sizzler for sure ,no onions on it classically a shashlik must have onions , British exceptionalism stepping into long steeped tradition here , perhaps ! Dal Makhani was excellent no different from what you will eat in India ,and so was the new iteration of murgh makahani moist ,succulent ,light par excellence!food serving temperatures was an issue and cannot be overlooked ,but the attending staff were accepting and happy to take remedial action 4 Overall a pleasant meal , but be mindful that this as the British say is a posh place ,but I saw mediocrity painfully creeping in ,the toilets need help ,and posh people need to be told that they cannot smoke in their private rooms . 5 Will I come back ? yes and no ,if the meal is paid for Yes and if I have to pay for it No, will stick with Trishna,Gymkhana or just to rile the Sethi's with Dishoom .More

I visited Brigadiers on 'Lockdown 2.0 Eve' with my boyfriend and two other friends. I'd wanted to visit having heard great things for quite some time but hadn't got around to it. From start to finish, it's a top notch dining experience. The decor is...opulent without being over the top or garish, the employees are attentive without being pushy or overbearing and the food is the best I've had in a high end Indian restaurant. The chicken wings are out of this world, whatever you are putting on these please tell me your secrets. The duck samosas were well spiced, a good size and good. The lamb skewers were special, I love lamb and this was cooked to perfection and high quality meat. We followed up with the mixed grill for four of us and again, the quality of the meat, the precision of the cooking and the spices and flavour were top notch. The cocktails are good but could be better, the dark and stormy was a little underwhelming but then I had high hopes. The Paloma was good and the tap espresso martini is actually quite decent. The boys enjoyed their beers. You don't really go here for the drinks though, the food is the main event. It's also pretty cheap for what you get, all of the above food with at least 3-4 cocktails and a few cafe patrons each came to just over £100 each. BARGAIN!More
