This was a first time visit for six of us. Rosa's is a bit Tardis like, with extra seating out of sight and a really lively atmosphere. A bit too lively if you actually needed to discuss anything serious over dinner but great fun otherwise. You probably need to book as Rosa's fills up fast. The food was excellent and... More

This is a small restaurant, would probably recommend a booking. The food here is awesome I had the beef massaman curry. One of the best massaman's I've had in London. I highly recommend eating here.

Our favourite Thai restaurant, our go to choice for takeaway orders, has fallen down this time. I ordered my usual, red duck curry, which I love. This time, there were only 6 pieces of duck in the curry, 3 of which were entirely fat. I mean pure, unadulterated, wobbly, blubbery duck fat. No duck meat underneath the fat at all.... More

Dear Gina I'm really sorry to hear about this disappointing experience. Would you be able to stop by our branch to discuss this with our manager, we would love to replace the duck curry for you. With regards to the portion, we have changed the takeaway contains, which uses less plastic but might appear smaller, although we had made sure... More

I had been looking forward to going to Rosa's Thai for ages. A lot of my friends had been previously and raved about it.. I am sad to say I was really underwhelmed. I ordered the seafood hot plate for £12. This consisted of four very small mussels, three pieces of squid and some vegetables in a hot sauce. It... More

Went out for diner with some colleagues who were keen on eating Thai. The food is pretty good however quantities are not big and don't even consider asking for a spicy meal unless you're really used to eat VERY spicy. If you dare to try one of those and try to get it "moderately" spicy I wish you not to... More

I tend to book here when I fancy a night out with the girls and crave Thai food. It gets busy so if you're a group, you should book in advance. The food is a little pricey but it is in a prime location. The food is good, we always have a Tom Yum Soup to start which is spicy... More

I'm a fan of Rosa's since it was a pop-up restaurant in Soho. Many years ago. Since then I'm coming to Rosa's in Soho or Spitalfields every time i am in London. Meanwhile they're having a lot more restaurants. Unfortunately the success has made it more commercial and less personal. The portions have shrieked, the prices have gone up. A... More

We chose Thai to end an enormous day. We had to ask twice to chance tables because of the cold near the door. But the food was great and spicy just like Thai food needs to be.

I keep coning back to this small restaurant. Friendly and always buzzing with diners. Love the food, and the Monmouth coffee. Fair price and always delicious.

The food here tastes great and the service is good, however they don't have many options and if you come as often as we do then you run out of things and get bored quickly. Also the portions could be a bit bigger. If coming at lunchtime try to come a bit easier (before 12) or a bit later (after... More

Description
This is where it all began for us. Our first London Thai restaurant, just a stone’s throw from bustling Brick Lane and Spitalfields Market. Rosa’s Spitalfields has an intimate, laid-back atmosphere, and is where we began serving our signature dishes to a London crowd hungry for fresh Thai food with a modern twist.

Staying in Spitalfields

Neighbourhood Profile
Spitalfields
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Wedged between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.
