The service was absolutely dreadful on this occasion. I was extremely disappointed in all aspects. The waitress tried to remove the salad plates while we were still eating, along with other basic offences , but the piece de resistance was when I spat out what...More

Just one dish, but each of the ingredients and dishes treated ideally and with great care. Excellent wines and yummy deserts. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Nothing really to add to the other positive reviews other than to say that my meal was great. Lively buzzing atmosphere although you do get a sense of not wanting to stay too long after finishing (the eyes of hungry queuing would be diners) so...More

This is one of our favourite restaurants. You can not book, you just have to turn up. It is a set menu of a salad with walnut and their special dressing. The main course is steak cooked to your taste and this is served with...More

The benefit is there is nothing to worry about with the menu as it is fixed. Steak and chips is excellent, but it would have been helpful if staff had enquired if sauce was needed. The sauce was fine but too much. It is very...More

I had wanted to come here for years and found myself in a pub round the corner late one afternoon thinking about where to go for dinner and this was the obvious choice. We arrived as the doors opened and were seated. I have read...More

I have been to the City Relais many times but never to Marylebone. Same simple but quality format, salad, steak and frites, cheese or desert. No booking. I have never been disappointed in the City and enjoyed this one even more.

Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods
cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience.
Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged
between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the
southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of
Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as
pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The
bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it
