A really great evening of fine dining. Nothing to fault, just great service, great food and great wine. There wasn't any of the pretentiousness or theatre that you get with some places and it was all the better for it. We had the tasting menu...More

Expensive, but reasonably expensive comparing to some other michelin starred restaurants in london, and totally worth every penny. And there is an outside area where...More

You just absolutely have to eat there. The Bistro is first rate, but La Chapelle is exceptional. Ambience first rate, food beyond reproach and the staff excellent. The waiters know their food, the sommelier is to be applauded; do try the recommended wines with the...More

Hello, I saw their vegetarian menu for 55.00 on their website. Does each dish come with a drink? Is this a kind of vegetarian tasting menu? If we are 2 of us do we both have to the same menu if one of us want to have this menu?

Hi Wendy, yes that would be absolutely fine to wear smart jeans. The dress code at La Chapelle is 'smart casual'.

The third restaurant to be opened by acclaimed chef brothers Chris and Jeff Galvin, La Chapelle has been consistently praised, winning no less than 8 top restaurant awards in its first year, including AA London Restaurant of the Year, and Tatler magazine's Restaurant of the Year. Chef Patron, Jeff Galvin, provides a menu of modern French cuisine, gaining a Michelin star in the 2011 Red Guide, just a year after the restaurant opened. There is also a menu gourmand, prix fixe lunch, early dinner menu, and Sunday Roast lunch menu. The service, under the direction of Alessandro Piombino and his team, effortlessly combines warm, friendly and attentive hospitality with a fine sense of tradition and decorum, in keeping with the grandeur of this Grade II-listed building. The restaurant is one of the few restaurants in London to hold a vertical list of Hermitage La Chapelle wines.
