Great family-run Italian with excellent pasta and steaks. The lobster is a bargain and wonderfully done. Service is superb and friendly.

I have just been here for lunch with an ex-work colleague - it's only a small family restaurant and was quite busy but we got seated and served quickly. We both just had main courses and coffee and a bottle of house wine. I had the veal milanese which was OK but if anything a bit too thin so the... More

Very good food and attentive service. £60 for two of us, excluding alcohol. Small restaurant, with very much an Italian feel and warm welcome. Recommended.

After a very long flight to London, my hubby and I were grumbling, exhausted, did I mention grumpy and most importantly hungry. We asked our hotel concierge to recommend somewhere within walking distance, that was reasonably priced and could provide simple home fare, he recommended Casa Becci. After a short ( very chilly ) walk we arrived at a very... More

Just utterly delightful. What a super find. Central London with this gem. I won't over waffle on this review. Basically, awesome, fresh, tantalising, fantastic service. We went in there without booking a table, and they accommodated us. It was for dinner, and we had a 6 year old with us 3 adults, who they made a cute fuss over. The... More

I have been going to Casa Becci for years. First time was around 15 years ago. First time when dad ran it, now the son. The only genuine Italian family restaurant I know in town. That's just how it feels and that's how the food tastes. Twice this month already. All that time it hasn't changed a bit. Meraviglioso

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
