Myself and my husband have visited this wonderful place about 5 times in the last year and have the most incredible food every time. Their menus get better every time. The staff are always such a joy to be around which, in London, is uncommon....Couldn't recommend more.More

I’m really impressed with the food at the buxton. The pasta and chocolate pot were top quality. Service was great too. Recommend it!

Called in here for a quick pint on our way back to Liverpool Street. No stupid QR codes for track 'n trace here, just a simple sheet of paper asking name and contact number - well done ! Ordered two pints of Prava lager, which...were not only served in old school jugs with handles, but the glasses were frosted. Beer was excellent, staff really friendly, toilets absolutely spotless. Will definitely come back again, a really nice quirky bar, with plenty of outside seating.More

Went on a Saturday for dinner with a friend, the food was absolutely delicious, also reasonably priced. The service was impeccable, very nice Restaurant Manager. I recommend to try the bavette and to finish your meal with the doughnuts. Would definitely go back!

Very good veg food options and decent lamb roast for Sunday. I got a small portion of the gnocchi, the roasted veg and the beetroot falafel with yogurt sauce. The waitress raved about the gnocchi and whilst I enjoyed the pesto sauce, the beetroot was...actually my favourite. It was moreish and the yogurt sauce was the perfect compliment. My companion said his roast was fine although the portion was a bit smaller than I have seen in other pubs.More

We visited the bar for a quick drink en route for a curry. This is a slick modish style bar with some rustic vintage styling and a good selection of cocktails, craft beers and wines. The staff were young, engaging and really friendly. Located amid...curry houses and boho cafés in the heart of Spitalfields it is two-minute walk from Aldgate East station, and just over 10 from Shoreditch. Lovely vibe and a really cool place to stop for a drink.More

We called at The Buxton on our way for a curry on Brick Lane. The place is immaculately clean. The man who served us was very friendly and informative. £12 for a pint of local beer and a white wine.

This is a really smart and trendy pub come hotel away from the hustle and bustle of Shoreditch. Amazing rooms, not big, but perfectly laid out for a more than comfortable stay with super comfy bed and pillows. The breakfast is plentiful and the hot...option well worth paying a little extra for. The pub down stairs has a very friendly vibe with a good selection of beers, food and bar snacks. What really makes this place is the staff who are all amazing and super friendly. Nothing was too much troubleMore

My wife had already eaten there and wanted to share the experience - very friendly staff, good choice of beers and a limited but well-prepared choice of dishes. An excellent terrine and an unorthodox but delicious leek risotto in pleasant surroundings!

Nice and cute hotel and pub, tastefully decorated. A trendy place in the middle of Brick Lane. However, it has a handful of things that make the score no higher: - It is not very comfortable since it does not have an elevator and the...stairs are narrow. - access is through the pub and sometimes customers look at you like a weirdo - Opening the door of the room was almost impossible. Until the third day, when I was leaving, I didn't catch the trick - the price is excessively expensive if you consider these inconveniences and the price of other hotels in the area - in the room there was no closet or room to hang clothes, just a couple of hangers on the door On the contrary, there are many things that I liked: - very comfortable bed and pillows - detail in the room with water and nespresso coffee maker - Excellent breakfast, with several options cooked live by a chef - a beautiful rooftop with stunning views - perfectly located, at the entrance of Brick Lane, and a step away from the Aldgate East subway stationMore

Parking in central London is difficult and expensive. I don’t think that they have parking at the hotel. Locally the public transport system is excellent.
