We visited for my partners 30th birthday for the vegan tasting menu. We loved it, and it was around 10 courses in the end, which we felt was good value. They even had a special birthday surprise, which was really lovely.

This was a great lunch. Welcoming staff, comfortable room and a limited but interesting menu. Nothing showy, just highly professional service that allowed us to get on with the drinking, eating and gossiping. We loved it. Must be hard to beat anywhere in London.

Just lovely and very good value lunch tasting menu. Scallop was lovely, truffle risotto rich, comforting and with a generous scattering of truffle, cod with citrus sauce light and refreshing, duck breast with confit leg and beetroot earthy and delicious. Chocolate desert apparently simple but...More

Went here for a romantic dinner, combined birthday / Valentine’s Day (not on Valentine’s Day). We toyed with the degustation menu, which is our usual MO, but chose to order a la carte, the five course menu, and then asked the sommelier to select wine...More

I took a number of colleagues out for lunch as a farewell to one of my friends! They all enthused about the food. I was unconvinced. I had the wild garlic risotto which was unremarkable and for my taste lacked seasoning. I then had the...More

This question was NOT asked by me. God knows how it appeared. Either an internet usurper or one of my grandchildren.....whoever it was, it is disgusting and not in the least bit amusing. I can't see how to delete it.

Having earned a star within a year of opening Gauthier Soho, Alexis Gauthier is described by Zagat guide as "...one of the Best New French food destinations in London...". With an emphasis on vegetables in all dishes, Alexis provides a seasonal tasting menu with the best possible ingredients (British where possible) for omnivores and a vegetable option, as well as an A la Carte and lunch/pre-theatre option. All served in a chic Soho Townhouse where the staff really make you feel special. There are also five private dining rooms for parties of all sizes.
