Our fist visit was one of those ad hoc stumble-across moments, and I'm so glad I stumbled across this little gem. On entering Nagomi for the first time, I couldn’t help but notice that the entire clientele were Japanese. For me, this always an encouraging sign, and my encouragement was doubly affirmed when it transpired that the entire kitchen staff... More

Not a Japanese food aficionado but this little restaurant off Bond Street offers nothing less than a comprehensive choice of original Japanese tastes in a serene and simple setting; the service is fine and the prices are downtown London ones.

I went recently to Japan and I had takoyaki at a food stall in the Asakusa area, Tokyo. Nagomi is one of the - actually few - places in London where you can find the dish. We were not disappointed ! Delicious, creamy...just like in my travel memory. The grilled pork skin with spicy sauce and the grilled mackerel with... More

Trad jap food. Very good nagomi set and tonkatsu. Service can be slow . It is a great place to have a good lunch for about 10£ in the west end area. Feel like in japan

I went with my sister and we had the bento set A and Nagomi tonkotsu "ramen" (they run out of ramen and offered to switch it for udon and it was delicious!) Everything was very tasty. The udon stock was very flavorful and the udon noodles had a great texture. The bento set A had miso soup, rice, very nice... More

Have been to this place many many times! It started with their famous ramen - rated one of the best in London! However, I want to recommend to go lunch time as you will have a mini starter, a bowl of proper Japanese ramen (choose thin noodle if waitress asks) and a full size crips dumpling and free tea -... When you see lots of Japanese customers in a Japanese restaurant it's always a good sign. This is a small but cosy restaurant, in a fabulous yet hidden location. The sets are all good value and I had the special of that day. The set came with hot green tea, edamame and miso soup. My choice was crispy fried chicken... More

Great authentic Japanese food and amazing service. I have been here a few times and will continue coming back. I usually have the grilled salted mackerel and a side of tempura for less than £15. The fact it's around the corner from Oxford St. is amazing!

In the middle of Mayfair, a non pretentious authentic Japanese restaurant that serves very good food: tasty cold soba, excellent bento box and crispy dumplings were in our menu. All served with miso soups...it was cheap in London terms and you will be challenged to eat so well at such low price. So why only Average?? Because of the cleanliness... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
