What a dissapointment, this is the first time I have found a venue claiming to be a restaurant that had absolutely no idea how to accommodate a gluten free request. They claimed to have a GF menu but no one could find it and the...More

I have been coming here off and on for the past few years. Food is decent, usual pub fair. They have some nice ales and layers on tap. What's really nice is the location, which is right next to the Thames river, and it has...More

Very good London pub in an amazing location along side the River Thames between Tower Bridge & London Bridge. Great views at night of both bridges lit up and other iconic London buildings. Also good food and beer at reasonable prices. Well worth a visit.

Visited for late lunch. Nice view and atmosphere. Some pumps not working. Food cold or partially cold so had to return one meal. No German style beers which were previously stocked in bottles. Have visited previously and indoor food was good. Probably not again.More

Description
You will find The Horniman at Hays in London Bridge within a short stroll of HMS Belfast, Tooley Street and London Bridge Tube - however you won't find another like it.

Step in to discover a traditional pub of unique character, revered for its eclectic range of real ales and its quality pub food, which are served, as they should be, with a generous measure of famous British hospitality.

This area along the south bank of the Thames was historically known as the 'Larder of London'. The pub is on the site of the tea warehouse owned by Frederick Horniman, a famous tea dealer, and Hay's Wharf was the largest and oldest wharf in the Port of London. Inside our pub, attractive friezes depict Horniman's travels to Africa, India and the Americas.
