I was taken to the Goring by son for a belated birthday celebration. It was probably the best Sunday lunch I've ever had. The service was first class, the waiters, the sommelier were all in attendance when you needed them. This must be London's best...More

We visited the Goring on Saturday evening for dinner and were treated to a masterclass in elegant fine dining. The standard of food coming out of the kitchen is truly fabulous, way higher than the single Michelin star would have you believe. If Alan Ducasse...More

I was here for the afternoon tea. The pink Bollinger was mmmm... The sandwiches were standard, the cakes were lovely, the atmosphere was just right. Attentive service.

The Goring is a shining beacon for those traditional qualities of service and fine dining that are becoming more and more scarce these days. If you want great food served by professional but unstuffy staff in an ambiance which enables you to converse at normal...More

We stayed at the hotel and did not have a chance to eat dinner as we had many other plans but managed to each breakfast twice. The service was outstanding and the English breakfast was very good.

We had an evening meal; a three course meal including the cheese board of English cheeses, and the impressive eggs drumkilbo. The evening was spoilt by the display of a sexist letter from a 'Mr Goring', incredibly displayed in a public area. The letter itself...More

Went to The Goring for its supper. It was exactly what I've expected from this Michelin-starred restaurant: tiptop, friendly service and absolutely delicious food.

If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a
grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to
start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster
Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square,
and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham
Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just
up the road as well. As captivating as the
