Great staff and good food. A regular for breakfast where there is a huge menu and they are very accommodating in changing item to obtain the perfect meal for you. Very clean although can get "very cosy" when full, which it often is. Very hand location with short walk to the river and the war museum.

I was looking for a traditional cafe for a full English breakfast. as there were several building sites in the area I asked the builders and they all recommended this place. The Cafe was full of cnstruction workers and emergency services, always a good sign. The choice of food was was enormous from sarnies to roast dinners. Service was swift... More

We stopped here for a bite to eat. What an amazing place. Busy but this didn't spoil our visit. Staff very friendly and efficient. The choice is amazing. I ordered liver bacon and onions and that is what I got. I had not asked for the potatoes so didn't get them. The portion size was huge and I didn't manage... More

I work within 50m of the corner cafe and so either breakfast or lunch there daily. You may at times think that breakfast is slightly pricier than other cafes but you get what you pay for - good food from a clean cafe with lots of choice - I would eat there daily if it wasn't!!!!

I had the breakfast set and it was great. Not used to beans for breakfast but it was tasty. Very filling.

We made this our first stop after checking into the Days Hotel up the street. I was looking for some local culture and I guess we found it here. Our waitress, although very nice, had limited English and even less American English which made some of the questions we had about the menu a little difficult to get answered. I... More

A rare and diminishing breed, this is a local cafe, open all day, that serves its punters from breakfast through to dinner! In the style of what it is, this is a good place to go for a morning fry-up, a hearty main meal, or simply a coffee and piece of cake! Frequented by locals, builders, ambulance drivers and tourists... More

If you eat food, whatever it is you can get it here. I have been an occasional user of this cafe for years and it has never disappointed. The best breakfast for miles and the lunches are stunning, take away or eat in, it is all good. Going back again tomorrow before I leave.
