The next morning after this dinner my voice was hoarse with all the shouting you need to do in order to be heard. It's exceptionally noisy. But, the food is good, especially the fish. Service is professional. Buzzy, trendy sort of place, not for everybody.

We booked this restaurant since the reviews were great as a pre-theater option. Turns out, the wine was better than the food, unfortunately. The whole principle of pre-theater is that the service is quick, rather than the food being....simple. The menu is very deceiving, as...More

Been to this restaurant a number of times when visiting London and it never disappoints. Discrete friendly service and great food. Had the special Thanksgivings Day Menu which was great.

Visited with a group of work colleagues and was impressed with the decor in particular the bar area in the basement. Was surprised at the menu which covered a wide range of fish, game and quality meats. The Lyme bay crispy squid was delicious and...More

The ambiance was amazing. The adjacent bar was very good. The Glenarm Estate Porterhouse steak was cooked to perfection. At 1kg, it’s a King Kong meal. But worth every penny.

The food at Hix was incredible, the service impeccable, and the artwork exquisite. Plus, the pricing is so reasonable; we ended up paying the same as many of the other boring chains in the area charge. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough, a real Soho...More

Waiters unfriendly, staring rudely, one tried to take a plate with half the food still obviously on it, another had no idea who ordered what, insincere courtesy and no welcoming vibe whatsoever. Crab was over flavoured, dry and crusty. Wouldn't come here again, pretentious and...More

I love this place. Have been before and always been wowed. This time the front desk was perfect, friendly and found us a table last minute at the bar which was fun. The oysters to start sublime - as were the scallops. I had catch...More

I love it all. Its a great place to hang out. The food, the booze, the helpful and cool staff, the music, the art on the walls!
