I'm a big fan of hawksmoor. Amazing steaks (the big cuts or worth it). They also have delicious sunday roast! I also highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding!

The Sunday roast here is a MUST-TRY. Been coming back every year for 3 years going. The Sunday roast comes with an amazing Yorkshire pudding and gravy. Wonderful interior as well! Might want to make a booking to ensure you have seats as they can...More

You can trust the quality of steak to be high here. We shared some larger portions and had many sides. All was excellent and the service was superb in a lovely setting, with a great bar to retire to. Value reasonable. Best steakhouse in London?...More

Perhaps we had expectations and reckoned it to be good. But our visit to Hawksmoor was a great disappointment. We had the spring set lunch. I had the rump steak and it was really a bad choice. It was both dry and tough. Service level...More

Decided to try the Hawksmoor Seven Dials after a very successful meal at the Hawksmoor Air Street last year also during the month of June. We each had starters, one of them being half a small lobster, which we managed to get about a teaspoon...More

They offer a pre-theatre menu, a set menu or normal a la carte. The steak from the set menu we had was really high quality and perfectly cooked. We were in a hurry and they managed to get out a pudding really quickly for us....More

I love the building and the atmosphere is great. Some people may find it too dark but I liked it. It was busy and again that creates a nice atmosphere. The food is...expensive and I have eaten better steaks, but it was tasty. My steak...More

They have a great wine list. Why should you bring your own? Have it at home.

I believe it is about 0.3 miles, and Google maps says it would take about 7 minutes to walk - obviously depends on how mobile you are. I hope this is useful.
We are taking our kids to Matilda which is near by - would you say it is a good choice for well behaved 10 and 12 year olds?

I think it would be great. We took our 3 teens to Hawksmoor twice (once before Matilda) and I have 1 picky eater. He got the roast chicken & fries. Totally fine for kids. You will love it- our favorite restaurant in London... More
