Went for a pre theatre dinner with my son and we chose to have the 3 course meal set meal with a cocktail. Service; drinks (though my small glass of Malbec was £12) and most of the food was excellent. I had chosen the restaurant...More

We visited Hawksmoor with friends, for an evening out, as it had been on our list of restaurants to try for quite a while. The Restaurant The atmosphere is spot on; the dining room is beautiful; I didn't think I could covet table linen. The...More

The middled aged group of four gathered at the restaurant. They were greeted by a very friendly staff who collected the bags to cloakroom from the bench where we were sat for our pre-prandial drinks. After wetting the beaks, as it were, we were led...More

So maybe I made a mistake by ordering a burger rather than a steak or a roast on Sunday... Table of four waits for an hour for our food, and then the reason becomes obvious - the burger is so overdone they’ve obviously spent all...More

Yea that's not correct. A 1000g lobster is 2.2lb in imperial units, that's probably twice what you would normally go for somewhere like the east coast of the US. A 500g lobster would be plenty for one person, so £25.
