Great food and great hospitality. I must say the restaurant got everything right. The food was impressive and could not be faulted. Well worth a visit.

The service is indeed very good, great location and view. We had baby ribs and hot wings for starters, with a side of sourdough bread (was excellent!). For mains we had barbecue ribs, grilled chicken, mash potato and chips. The food is average or below, street/pub quality. The food is definitely NOT the star of this restaurant. Given that you... I have meant to try Barbecoa ever since it opened, but it always was busy and understandably. It's a Jamie Oliver restaurant and it serves its purpose. Good menu and executed. Good classics, quality of ingredients. Good wine selection. And the staff is of the the high quality as well.

Really disappointed with our meal last night perhaps influenced by the fact that four of us we seated at a huge table which could seat eight or nine when restaurant was virtually empty - it felt like we were sitting miles apart. My main course of sirloin was tasteless and chips were undercooked. Gave up on it as wasn't worth... More

Went here on the 26th of November, I booked in advance. We were seated but my table was right in the sun so the table had to be moved as it was blinding me, not a major issue. I would give yourself time to find the restaurant as its not very obvious. Staff were ok bit over baring and tried... More

I've just had a lovely lunch here even thought the ribeye was nearly impossible to cut in places. Very disappointing but it was working lunch and so I didn't want to complain. I just left half of it. That said, what I did/could eat was lovely! Very nice staff, great atmosphere and generally very pleasant place. Don't make the mistake... More

Just been for a fantastic team Xmas lunch at Barbecoa. After a great lunch last year, couldn't think of anywhere to go back too, so went back. Glad that we did, the food was fantastic, the service was good, and the view in the sunshine was lovely.

Thank John H

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
