Pre booked, lovely atmosphere, right on the river. Very busy with a few people queuing for tables and it was only 7.00pm. We had to ask for directions because it was tucked away. You can see the chefs cooking the pizzas and the chefs and...More

In effort to find a light lunch with a view on a raining day in London we found ourselves in Zizzi, looking onto the Thames. The place was packed but hostess assured us she would find us a table and we were seated in minutes!...More

Excellent location alongside the Thames and an attractive interior. Our waitress was really nice and did a great job. We really enjoyed the main courses but those of us who had one of the starter specials found it rather ordinary. I mentioned this to our...More

To be honest, this isn’t a review for the branch as they can’t control the vegetarian options but for the higher aboves. The pomadoro was extremely watery and bland. Please improve your menu and make it a great experience for vegetarians just as it would...More

I had dinner here with my best friend who is a vegan and my daughter who is a vegetarian. Zizi has a brilliant menu for alternative eaters. I'm a meat eater and we were all well catered for.

This restaurant is on the first floor, when you enter you are not sure what to expect. Most tables had a view looking out over the Thames. The menu was varied and we both enjoyed our food. The staff were good. The decor was interesting....More

My boyfriend and I visited for our 1 year anniversary, we were sat in a 2 person booth but there was plenty of room and the lamp on the table created a cozy and romantic setting. The lights on the bridge and buildings could be...More

Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard,
the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond
any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some
time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved
browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street,
foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old
foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks
of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest

At Zizzi we like to do things a little differently. We don’t do over-complicated recipes or scrimpy portion sizes. We’re all about the well-chosen ingredients, simply put together to make exceptional Italian food.Just a short walk from the famous Globe Theatre, our Bankside restaurant offers a nice rest for the weary London sightseers and stunning river views while you dine. The illustrations decorating the walls throughout the restaurant were inspired by the surrounding area - a hub of urban skateboard culture that involves spirit, music and fashion, illustrated by the artist Matthew Brooks. Look out for loads of other interesting details including skateboard decks, modern art and vespa scooters.
