It was a busy night, and one of our party was taking part in the show so it needed to be efficient, and it was. It did feel though, that we were a party of naughty schoolchildren needing to be herded by the headteacher -...More

Had brunch before the Masters Tennis finals. Table was reserved and ready for me. Due to the time of day I had brunch. It took a long time for my order to be taken. But once I had ordered the food arrived almost immediately so...More

Even though my wife and myself enjoy good food and regularly eat out in restaurants around the world, this is my first Trip Advisor restaurant. What a shame that is it one of such negativity! We came to see Jools Holland on Saturday, 30th November....More

Lovely juice prawns to start and Hake to follow in a delicious light sauce and the Mangetout Peas were just perfect. What a way to start to see a performance at the Royal Albert Hall, especially with Lang Lang playing !

My Thai vegetable curry consisted of about 8 pieces of vegetable, a scoop of rice, all swimming in a fairly liquid green sauce. No effort, no thought, no presentation. And the service began poorly, although ended with a smile. Rushed to the show before we...More

Had a pre-concert dinner here with another couple. The good bits are the location in the Albert Hall, a nice ambience and friendly helpful staff. The bad news is the very limited menu setting out to be a bit different and seemingly offering a quality...More

If you want to eat before a show there really is very little choice in the area. We pretty much got what we expected, reasonable food at an overinflated price with exorbitant prices for drinks. Very small starter portions, rather bland main courses, nice staff...More

South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
