My partner and I visited Nopi to celebrate her birthday, she being a great fan of Yotam Ottolenghi's cook books. We were not disappointed. We chose from the pre-dinner menu which offered a good variety of dishes. The sea bream was particularly tasty as was the sirloin beef. For dessert I had apple gingerbread trifle which was yummy whilst my... More

I came with a group of my family friends after a very disappointing evening at a bar we booked nearby and my night was changed! The food was beyond words amazing like tantalizing my tastebuds Amazing! Everything we ordered was delicious, the service was some of the best I received in London. Atmosphere was relaxed and very warm and friendly,... More

We came across NOPI by chance and had a coffee stop. Great atmosphere - helpful and friendly staff. Great decor. Service and coffee was great and we observed some great breakfasts being served. Next time we will make a reservation, arrive earlier and eat. Glad we found it.

Yotam Ottolenghi’s restaurant! I felt privileged to be allowed to eat at this temple of modernity, the restaurant that has changed the tastes of a generation. And it was even better because my family took me as a birthday treat. My expectations were sky high, so it was thrilling that our table was beckoning on arrival (as was my daughter),... More

We were unable to secure a dinner reservation so we were happy to get in for lunch. Often a highly anticipated meal falls short of expectations. Nor so at Nopi. The food and service were really terrific. I have some food allergies. Our server Ellie gave me very specific guidance as to what to avoid. Lots of layers of flavor.... More

Absolutely fantastic place. Went for a meal pre theatre and didn't want to leave. Young Harry and all the staff were so helpful and the food was just way out there in terms of taste, quality, presentation - just fab. Honestly best meal have had for years.....

I'm a big Ottolenghi fan, so I had to give this place a try. I decided to go for breakfast because I didn't want to break the bank. I got the shakshuka and earl grey tea for 16.31 pounds. Shakshuka was delicious and came with smoked labneh and toasted sourdough. Would definitely recommend and I want to go back to... More

I guess it was one of those days. Nothing came together during our visit. We waited too long to be seated. Too long to receive the food. We ordered a variety of dishes. Truly not impressed.

It's always busy here but the staff managed to seat us at the bar within 10 minutes, and the atmosphere was a buzz but not too intense or loud. The menu is perfectly balanced, not too many options but everything sounded mouthwatering. Great wine list and most importantly a waiter and barman that talked us through all of the dishes... More

We enjoyed both lunch and dinner here over a 2 week period. Absolutely consistent, convivial and very tasty. Everything we selected to eat was excellent. The portions were responsible in size and the food artfully presented. Sequencing was perfect. And the wines were unique and uniquely well-suited to the food. GO!

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
