It's somewhat ironic that my girlfriend and I had been discussing the pros and cons of tripadvisor before visiting this place so we only read the reviews after we sat down to order. If any restaurant proves tripadvisor to be a valuable tool for avoiding dodgy restaurants, this is the one. Believe the star rating. If anything it is far... More

Absolutely dire from start to finish! Rude waiters - dirty glasses, uncooked poppadoms, tiny servings (unusual for Indian restaurants which are usually very generous), cold food, horrid toilets. Not impressed at all, and all I can say about the favourable reviews is that some people must have very low expectations! Eat anywhere but here. Seriously.

I can't really follow the bad reviews on this place. Or at least not the preponderance of bad reviews. We thought the food was excellent and the naan was also very good. We ate a mix of things with tandoori chicken and a vegetable dish serving as the main courses. I agree the service was nothing special. However, it was... More

Went here with a work colleague for dinner on a Sunday night while staying in the Trafalgar Square area. I wish we'd read TripAdvisor first, or taken notice of the fact there were only two other diners in the restaurant. The Service was just dreadful. - exceptionally unfriendly, almost surly waiter - he spilled rice over me, and dropped a... More

We could smell the cuisine when we were stood outside looking at the menu and this enticed us in. The staff were all very friendly and gave us a choice of tables to sit at. (Restaurant was half full when we arrived - 6pm.) There were loads of dishes to choose from, ranging from the staple dishes you find across... More

Food came cold tasteless and looked like cling film had just been pulled off it to just re-heat. There was a skin over the top of the food like it hadn't even been stirred after being microwaved!!! Will never ever go there again. Staff vey rude. A member of staff just sits at another table watching you and they hover... More

We found this restaurant after an evening at the theater. The wait staff clearly did not want to serve us but as we had already missed the cut off point at other eateries decided this would be our only option. The waiter took our order grudgingly and not hiding the fact he was not impressed with us being there,The drinks and starters... Had a few hours before a late train home so thought we'd go for an indian. This is on one of the main shopping side-streets around the west-end, near Leicester Square, bustling with people, so thought it would be a safe bet. How wrong could one be. It's February. It's cold. Why are there mosquitos or midges lurking around above... More

Restaurant looked quite inviting inside, a waiter opened the door whilst we were reading the menu outside and invited us to try some good Indian food so we thought we would give it a try. First impressions seemed OK but was soon greeted by an unfriendly waiter who seemed eager to have us over order the amount of food we... More
