GPS got confused and we walked in circles. Came in through the cheese shop but sat on stools in Spitalfield Market to see the crowds. Agree with all the comments about the delicious fondue set menu including a carafe of wine. Had not had fondue in years and it tasted great! Lots of fun. Had to buy some of their... More

I have walked past this place many a time (on both sides) and never ventured in to buy some cheese or to try the restaurant. It was 6:30pm on a Friday and was already full so the waiter said take a seat, talk to the chef and have a glass of wine as a table will be available soon. Whilst... More

Very authentic and beautiful place to eat! Helpful friendly staff. Food absolutely perfect. And nice wine to match. Dessert was amazing too! Can't wait to visit again.

I was in London for the Christmas holiday visiting my son and girlfriend. Heard about Androuet's fondue. Wanted to try this place out. Had the Androuet classic fondue with the Charcuterie. The fondue and meats were enough for three of us. Next time I'm in London, we will return for another fondue. Androulet is located in Spitalfields market which in... More

I've been here a number of times - most recently last Friday for my sister-in-law's birthday. We shared a large classic fondue with charcuterie and a raclette between 3 which was ample. Such tasty cheese and the wine (I can recommend the chilled Beaujolais) was great too. Reasonably priced and great service too. Will definitely be back.

As a french person, that's definitely the perfect place to get amazing cheese in east London. They are killing it with their fondues and the selection of wine is great !

After two years of absence from the restaurant, my partner and I, brought another couple of friends to Androuet as we used to consider it our favourite restaurant. But to our surprise, the restaurant not only has changed its location and aesthetic, but the quality of food has dramatically diminished. The memory of the intense taste of the fondue has... More

Dear Valentina, Thank you very much for your review, your feedbacks are helping us to do a better job. Our location has change but definitely not our philosophy! My brother and I are passionate about one thing, quality food. When it come to ingredients we are taking it very seriously. Our vegetable are mainly sourced from a familly-run farm in... More

Great fondues, fab mulled wine. Staff friendly and helpful. Busy but the short wait for a table us well worth it.

The owners and staff are fabulous, and the food and drink is out of this world. I never miss an opportunity to visit Androuet when I'm back in London. Looking forward to raclette or fondue when we're back over the holidays. See you then..

We had a classic cheese fondue and a chocolate fondue and everything was excellent. Nice atmosphere, I especially appreciate the well-balanced service : neither too present not too absent, just what it's needed. Friendly staff. The shop looks great too. I will definitevely come back !

Staying in Spitalfields

Neighbourhood Profile
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Wedged between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.
