Went after walking round the streets trying to find a good place. Here was good service, tasty but the food was very oily/ greasy. I know Chinese can be, but it should be burnt off when cooked in the wok. The staff were friendly, and the place was busy as well as great with the children.

With little foreknowledge we selected this restaurant because the line was moving quickly and on this night many restaurants had wait times. I ate the sliced duck in orange sauce and had a side of egg fried rice, my son ate the cashew chicken and my wife and daughter had sweet and sour chicken. All of the meals were quite... More

Visited this restaurant on a recent visit to London. Food was ok but when we asked for the bill they gave us just the total amount and not an itemised bill. When we ask for an itemised bill they were not very please but gave it to us begrudgingly. They had added a service charge of 12% to the bill... More

We took a chance here after a theatre show - it was very busy so we thought this would be a good sign. Restaurant is a little tired, the food in all honesty was only average. We had sweet & sour chicken, beef with spring onions & ginger and special fried rice. It was hot and relatively quick but pretty... More

The place was packed but we only had to wait 15 minutes for a table - the staff turned were pretty quick at turning tables around once people left. The menu choice was typical of a decent Chinese restaurant & the service was prompt considering how busy they were. We ordered a variety from the menu & didn't have long... More

We had never eaten in Chinatown so decided to give it a go last Friday evening, the place was very busy but they found us a small table for two. We were given the menu and a waiter took our drinks order, within five minutes we were asked five times by five different people if we were ready to order,... More

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
