I'm an eggs Benedict lover - and the best thing about the riding house cafe are the variety of eggs benedict once can get. Had a lovely eggs Benedict with salmon. The hollandaise sauce was light and delicious. The eggs poached well. The ambiance is inviting for brunch. Would recommend as a good brunch spot in fitzrovia.

Its a frustration, visiting here. It's either really, really good. Or annoyingly bad. It feels like there are not enough servers. So drinks take ages to come. And food arrives cold. If you are here for business (which I often am) you don't have the time to send things back. Or the mental energy to get cross about it. If... More

Went for lunch with my daughter and am glad I made a reservation via their website the night before. The line was long. The food was great and the service was friendly. The kitchen missed my order but the waitress corrected immediately and apologised. The wxperience was great and can't wait to go back.

Wonderful cafe just a few minutes walk from oxford street. Coffee was excellent and would definitely return next time I'm in London for their eggs Benedict!

Came here on a late friday morning and the place was already buzzy and filled with atmosphere and you feel as if you're tucked away from the outside world. Great detail as they've kept with the hunting lodge theme right down to the bathrooms! Food was good - i asked for the lobster benedict (without the caviar) and they obliged... More

Went here for brunch in preparation for a day out. £50 later and after two average meals we left very disappointed. The chorizo hash was dry with over cooked eggs and full breakfast was no more special than a local cafe. On a brighter note the staff were very friendly and the service was quick. I won't be eating here... More

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The Chorizo hash is very popular and needless to say, your eggs shouldn't have been dry. I will make sure to discuss the issues with the kitchen team and would love to get another chance to get it right. Kind regards More

Third visit and love it for the buzzy, lively atmosphere and general good service. However, on this occasion, the food was just ok. We had a selection of tapas to start which were all nice enough but 3 of us had the kedgeree as a main and it was disappointing - not as warm as it should be and seriously... More

Hi there, Thank you very much for your feedback. The Kedgeree is one of our signatures so very disappointed to hear that it failed to impress. I'm sorry about the toilet issue, I will investigate how it could go unnoticed and unattended. Kind regards Fabian More

We had been recommended the RHC for dinner and went here to celebrate a birthday, and we were not disappointed. The staff weer friendly a attentive enough, which allowed us to celebrate the birthday as well as have a nice chat. The food was excellent, from the Chorizo Hash to the Village Burger and the wonderful Lamb Rump. Well cooked... More

Cannot comment on the food, however, after 45 minutes of waiting for service, ended up just getting the bill before we could order food. Handed over to three waiters who could not show less interest in the fact they are trying to charge at a price point above the normal gastro. Avoid.

Incredibly tasty and wide selection for brunch. Also looks impressive when it arrives, which is always good for impressing friends (and that I eat with my eyes). Eggs Benedict is the definite winner, though my friend had the pancakes which looked just as yummy.

Thank you so much for the kind words. Glad to hear that the food was both pleasing on the eye and palate. Come for Pancake day when we have a whole pancake menu! More
