Very disappointed today. Love Chilango's a regular lunch venue for me and colleagues, asked for a hot box 3 times!!! ended up with a wrap, no one listened to me at all along the 'pass' as such, told them all repeatedly, gave up in the end, not sure I will return. Plenty of other eateries to spend my money in,... More

After yesterday's lunch I don't think I'll bother visiting again. Over the last year it has been getting consistently worse and portions smaller. It is now at a point where the amount of chicken you get is laughable and nothing short of an insult. There are far better places in the local area so I'll be taking my business elsewhere... More

Burrito was flavourless, they also assumed I wanted the more expensive sizes burrito. It was quite a shock when I got to the till and the young man charged me £7.55 or something. When I said that I did not order that priced burrito he responded by telling me that I did not specify so they assumed I wanted to... More

I affectionally call this the "Mexican Subway" because of quickly you can get your tacos or burritos made to order. But in terms of taste, this blows Subway food out of the water. It's delicious. And the Mexican ornaments and music make it.

at £6.95 there are lots of choices in Leather Lane. The food is way overpriced for its relative small portion. Staff attitude wasn't at the greatest during the busy lunch time. I have been in twice, both had poor experience. Never again :(

Went here for a random lunch after a rare trick outside from work midday and got a steak burrito with hot sauce. Ok so it's a heavy burrito and the heat is decent but the meat is fairly chewy and pretty stingy. Ok flavour for what was there. I noticed the girl filling it drop some from the spoon and... More

Awesome as always, bbq flavour unlike the cheap flavourless alternatives. Steak and prawns is rich in flavour bbq'd with charred bits. You pay extra for guacamole but it is really good in fairness.

I love this place. Fresh, fast and full of flavour. Nice range of food, with a few seasonal from time to time.

We've eaten here quite late in the night, the place was deserted but the staff was really kind with us. We tried the beef burrito with mango sauce: the thing was amazing, huge, cheap and very flavorful. You've got to try it.

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
