Nice , comfortable place but food inconsistent. Funny they do the tough things better. I.e. Goat cheese chorizo calzone and homemade cannelloni yummy but basic margarita pizza blah, not enough flavor and chicken pepperoni pizza wowed barbecue sauce. Maybe come back for calzone which really was spot on but just can't figure out that pizza, bland, thin crust with not... More

initially seated took 15 minutes to get a coffee not the worst thing but a bad start, then not served for another 30 minutes which was annoying, then took another age to get our drinks, then the food, no complaints from anyone else but my burger was burnt to a crisp and was not nice at all, but had been... Everything was delicious and would definitely visit again. No rushing and friendly staff. I kind of wish I'd had room for dessert!

Large table with work colleagues. A well varied menu cooked to an excellent standard. Excellent prices for central London. Guy serving us was really nice- but covering too many tables so a couple of times we had to go and ask for drinks as left parched. Pizza was spot on and the chef did a great job. 4 not 5... More

I have lost count of the number of times I have eaten at this restaurant whilst on business in London. The staff are always extremely welcoming and the food never fails to impress. Having tried almost everything on their menu, it is safe to say that regardless of what you order you won't be disappointed. If possible try to save... More

For a quick, hassle free place to eat this is the restaurant chain. We use Glocester Road as they invariably have walk in space and the food is reasonably priced and good. I always have pepperoni pizza....

Just got home from a really nice dinner with my best friend to celebrate my birthday. We really didn't know about this restaurant and we popped in as we were passing by. The food is Italian with a good English twist. We had calamari and deep fried goat cheese, pizza and spaghetti with prawns. All was really tasty and well... More

This was the first restaurant my fiance and I went to in South Kensington and we really enjoyed it. We wanted a small meal and we picked Wildwood because of the pizzas on the menu. We were hesitant about ordering pizza in a place that isn't specifically Italian, but it was delicious! The atmosphere was great - cozy, comfortable, and... More

We went to Wildwood late on a Thursday evening and the place was pretty empty. We ordered the baked Brie as an appetizer and it was great (cooked with hazelnuts and roasted garlic) but sadly that was the only good thing about this place. While the ambience was nice the service was pretty slow considering the fact that there were... More

The wildwood is a bit more upscale than a traditional pizza restaurant. They have a variety of dishes including pasta's and pizza.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
