Our first night in London and my friend said we had to go to The Blackfriar for dinner. What a great little find! Architecturally unique building, and busy location, but they seated us right away. The ambiance is unlike any other place I've been, or...More

At the foot of Blackfriar Bridge on the City side lies this historic pub with very good food and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Often (or always) crowded, it is worth a wait to sit and have dinner, a pint, and a relaxing time. Go...More

This restaurant gives me some delicious beer and also cordiality. One of the staffs is very courteous to recommend me to try the taste of some beer. I really appreciate her service.

Arrived in London on Boxing Day and to our dismay nothing was open. Called Blackfriar and they said to hurry. Hustled across the bridge in the rain, walked in dripping and was welcomed instantly. The bartender asked if we were planning for food and that...More

We stopped into the Blackfriar on a Sunday evening without a reservation. Even though they were quite busy, the waitress found us a table. We had a great meal with some nice ales and ciders.
