It's only a stone throw away from cutty sark and we wanted to have a quick snack but this place offers affordable great menu. Fatji and fish chips were excellent and enjoyable!

Enjoyed the atmosphere and the great prices. The bar tenders were chatty and friendly. Food was well priced and very tasty.

Only visited for a drink (very overpriced drink. I dared to ask for a clean glass for my wife's bottle of cider and the bar man decided to argue the point. Suggesting I was wrong, to me it shouldn't matter, just change the glass!! Wouldn't go back!!

Two burgers & 2 pints £43 . Poor quality, over cooked , bad service . Much better options at O2 . Save yourself money and time

You know what you're getting when you visit a place like this, sticky tables, sticky bar, dark room so you can't see how dirty the glasses are! Service was faster than expected, food more expensive than it should be (but then you are in the O2) but it was all tasty.

went to the Aerican Bar and Grill in the O2, food very expensive and tasteless. The burger I had was small and the bun was like cardboard. Very overpriced, a rip off.

This is not really a place to go for a bar snack and whilst they do serve food its really more about the cocktail scene - a pleasant experience

I took my daughter to see a show at the O2 Arena and we decided to eat at the American Bar and Grill, which happens to be the first restaurant you see as you enter the arena. We chose our meal, I went to the bar to order and was incredibly shocked to be asked for £35 for 2 burgers,... More

visited with my mum and daughter. venue was really dark (probably to disguise the awful food) with a couple of sachets of ketchup on the table. In hindsight this should have made us leave then! ordered food at the bar, two New Cowboy burgers and a childs burger and chips. When we were served we actually thought they had brought... More

Expensive, poor service and food was dreadful. Couldn't have been worse if they went out of their way. Pasta was cold and tasteless, chicken wings were not buffalo but BBQ and were cold, when let them know they returned the same ones minus the one bitten into. Beef baguette - beef was grisly, chicken burger was dry as plasterboard. Chips... More

Staying in Greenwich

Neighbourhood Profile
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
