Well, we loved it! How much better can it get when you are on the grounds of Kensington Gardens? Our family of 6 really enjoyed the experience. I had reserved a table weeks in advance only to arrive much sooner then expected. (My family breezed through museums and I did not anticipate the timing of it all) In any event,... More

My sister & I had afternoon tea on the veranda at The Orangery on the anniversary of Princess Diana's death. The tea & food were enjoyable, however, service a little slow. We didn't mind drawing out the occasion considering we may have seen Prince George & Princess Charlotte leaving/returning to Kensington Palace grounds to go into Hyde Park - bike... More

Me and my cousin had afternoon tea here (reservation recommended!) and it was a real British experience for us both. The tea and food was excellent, the service very attentive and the ambiance and location of the orangery feels very royal. It is a pricey treat but to experience this beloved tradition in this setting was worth it!

Beautiful oasis in central London Everything was wonderful, the food, the wine, the service, the ambiance and even the weather!! We had lunch but stayed so long that they were serving afternoon tea when we left, and that looked amazing too. Treat yourself, you wont be disappointed! !

You cannot get a better location than this in central London! A group of us went to start celebrating a friend's birthday, and as soon as the waiter found out, they went above and beyond - even giving a separate plate of cakes & macaroons with a birthday message in chocolate. Highly recommend.

Located next to Kensington palace and park, the Orangery is set in lovely well kept grounds, with great views. Seating can be either inside or outside. It is advisable to book in advance. We opted for the afternoon tea, which was a mixture of hand made sandwiches, scones and cakes plus a great choice of specialty teas. Service is really... More

I went there for an afternoon tea with friends: the location is nice, next to Kensington palace, the tea accessories are particular but tea and the food is substandard. Go there to enjoy a coffee or a simple tea and to enjoy the park, but not for a proper afternoon tea as it is not worth the price. On the... More

It's sunny, you're sat outside with a view of Kensington Palace and gardens. Tea is served in pots with proper tea leaves. What a find.

Portions ridiculously small. between 2 of us, we had - 4 triangles of cucumber and mint sandwiches and they could only have been made from one slice of bread!!! - coronation chicken wrap that was only 4 cm long (minute), - tiny bridge roll each (6cm long). - Scones OK, but the clotted cream was actually whipped cream!!! - One...
