Visited this great Vietnamese place 2 weeks ago for pre theatre meal. The staff were very informative and friendly and pointed out veggie options on the menu and even asked if we had any allergies. The service was super quick (within minutes) and the food was freshly prepared and very tasty. Reasonable cost too. Would highly recommend.

Never fails to disappoint. The Lamb neck curry and the butter fish curry with rice and the noodles was very tasty at a reasonable price. Fresh, good quality food with excellent service

Heard it's a good place so went with friend. The layout of the place is nice. Maybe we came on a busy night, so we have the high chair table, which is not the most comfortable place to eat dinner. Maybe this is something the management can review and make all seats are comfortable for people to have dinner. In... More

Decided to visit Cay Tre at the last minute decision on a Saturday night ! It was full and had to wait for 20 mins at the bar ! Our favourite was the cold vermicelli with salad and tofu! The portion seemed bigger and it was still delicious! Service was Ok and they could do with a smile and friendliness!

Went for a quick dinner after a show and would recommend. Varied menu with curry, pho and other dishes. Enjoyed the butterfish curry which was nice and spicy. Rice portions are big enough to share.

We ate at the restaurant one year ago. The food was average but correct. We came back last week end, the food was terrible - the service as well. We couldn't even eat some dishes and have to sent them back. The other dishes didn't have any taste. Not what it used to be anymore! We won't go back!

Visited for the first time on Saturday evening. Was busy and could not get a table until late. The food was generally good but some items were not warm enough and had to be sent back for warming. We were also rushed by the waiters to finish quickly as I think they were keen to close up and go home... More

I had lunch here and having only been once, I will be returning. The fish was absolutely perfectly cooked! Service was friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend. A must when you are in Soho. Very reasonably priced.

I am Vietnamese, I miss the taste of Vietnamese food so I came here and ordered beef pho for lunch, the food taste horrible, the soup tasted full of msg (food flavour enhancer) NOT real beef soup at all. The service is also terrible, so bad that I'll never come here again !

The pho are good, but my advise is to order a few appetizers and the 'big bowls'. They are super big and filling so great for sharing! The staff is helpful and nice, and the food is authentically Vietnamese. Perfect for a dinner with friends or a casual business occasion

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
