Popped in for a light snack as we were heading to a restaurant in Mayfair for a late lunch! We opted for the soup of the day - sweet corn 🌽 with popcorn 🍿! Interesting combination but it worked. Aubaine is a nice space - casual restaurant for a late brunch. Service could have been better, the waiter had to... More

I was there with my husband and my two kids. The interior is so nice. We ordered breakfast, they all got their orders except for me. They forgot my order. They apologized and offered more coffee on the house. I refused because well, the mood is ruined. What's worse than a hungry human being? A hungry mother who barely gets... More

I have visited on a Wednesday afternoon, around 3pm. What a beautiful place! I have enjoyed a glass of champagne at the back of the restaurant by the flowery setting. I had a tuna tartare to start with witch was divine, followed by a sea bass that was just delicious. I really enjoyed the service- very friendly and with a... More

I came with my family for lunch to celebrate my birthday after a morning of busy shopping on a busy Saturday. We had an amazing lobster spaguetti and my dad had the seabass, both were lovely but the best part which made all the difference was our waiter Matthew, he made our afternoon really special and made us laugh and... Shopping with family in Selfridges and sought out this lovely restaurant for a peaceful solo lunch while they shopped. Had a delicious superfood salad with chicken. The chicken was very tender and tasty and the service impeccable and quick. Finished with a fruit salad which was equally good and would definitely return. My son and his friend, meanwhile, spent the... More

I have taken as a tradition to never visit London without a visit to Aubaine to eat their outstanding Lobster Pasta. The restaurant is difficult to find (second floor of Selfridges, behind the shoe department) but well worth the effort. A tip: even if it sometimes is not visible on the menu you can order it anyway.

We have had a coffee and a piece of lemon cake here. Coffee is very good (like a coffee should be!) Cake was fresh and very tasty. Staff is friendly and the place has a nice atmosphere. An 'additional' 12,5% is added to the bill. Seems to be typical around these 'upper class' places to add a default 12,5% service.... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
