Had Sunday lunch here after working at a trade show at the Olympia, good distance to walk to from the Olympia. The food wad great, I had lamb which was cooked just right. Staff were all very nice and pleasant, they have what looked to be a really good Tapas menu too but as it was Sunday though the Sunday... More

Stayed on Kensington high street, 25/2 asked reception if they could recommend somewhere nice to eat, recommended Princess Victoria Kensington, quite close to our hotel, walked to the place and it didn't look much from the outside so debated whether to enter or not (as had seen another nice looking restaurant on Kensington high street) , it started to rain... Held my daughter's birthday party yesterday night. Amazing food and a great bar. Super flexible with helping the DJ and Photo Booth operator with a logistics. Will hold next year's birthday at the same place God willing... Lamp chops were to die for so were they burgers...

We love this place. Susie the owner is a perfect host, she is always there to help with the menu and make sure everything is good. We have been twice with some very picky eaters, one vegetarian and we had no trouble finding a great selection of tapas. The wine list is nice and not over the top prices. The... More

Last minute booking for an office lunch, 9 of us without much clue what we wanted. The waitress (owner/manager?), a lovely Spanish lady, made us very welcome, talked us through the menu, and we ended up going with a tapas selection to a fixed budget per head based on her recommendation. The food that came was full of variety, including... More

We had our office Christmas Party at Princess Victoria in December 2016, and it was absolutely fantastic. They arranged a big table for us upstairs in the dining room and even put out some Christmas crackers. It was absolutely fantastic. The food was first class, everyone at the office really enjoyed the atmosphere (and a lot of the house wine... More

A few minutes from the Design Museum, which isn't worth visiting, is the Princess Victoria which sounds like a pub but is a brilliant Tapas restaurant. Really good food and 7 plates between three of us was more than we could eat. Not brilliant service but really great food. This is worth visiting!

I was very happy to have found this place, it was a very nice find, just round the corner from Kensington High Street, in Earls Court Road. To agree with a previous reviewer, it is more of a wine bar than pub, although the name and the exterior suggest a traditional English pub, but that was actually a positive -... More

Perfect place to celebrate a 21st Birthday dinner - the upstairs room and bar looked beautiful and provided the perfect setting for the occasion. The food was delicious and plentiful, the staff were very helpful, but most of all, the manager, Susie, made the whole process of organising and selecting a menu, incredibly easy. It was a great night and... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
