After walking around all afternoon, tea was a must. This restaurant serves a good cup of tea and both the brownie and the ginger cake are good. Just the right place for a stop

Notes brews coffee very much in the Australian style that we Aussies love. If you want somewhere atmospheric that knows how to brew well you've found it.

I visited Notes during my trip to London in search of good coffee in London. Notes didn't disappoint. Located centrally (near Trafalgar Square) Notes has a smooth coffee with lovely customer service.

Great position and decor but let down by v dopey staff when we visited. Perhaps students on Vac or end of long shift but didn't care and messed up simplest of orders. Interesting craft beer and food looked ok but left after such poor service

Great place for a coffee fix if you're near Trafalgar Sq or Covent Garden (or you're walking between the two). Busy place but a great staff and nice atmosphere not to mention great coffee and snacks, make this a wonderful little stop.

DW and I stopped for an afternoon cuppa, ordering a cappuccino and a flat white. Both were very good. On a whim, got Brownie to share. It was a WOW. Will be back.

Bit poncy, but maybe I like that as I really enjoy the atmosphere here. Superb coffee. Perfect for business meetings.
