I absolutely loved this place. Hidden in a tiny lane, I wouldn't have known about it if my friend hadn't recommend it. Great decor and fabulous food. The bread rolls were yummy. I had an interesting fish soup while my friend had the Friday fish and chips which she said was very good. Desserts and drinks were lovely too. Service... More

I'd heard good thing, great things even. So good I was nervous my expectations would be too high, but I could not have enjoyed Parlour more. Their team is great, with genuine and warm service. The food was excellent, and the beverage program is strong. Impressive beer selection, delicious Manhattan at the end of the meal, knowledgable bartenders, thank you... More

We went here after finding that The Paradise just around the corner had gone a bit downhill for Sunday lunch and a mate who lives around the corner himself recommended Parlour instead. The food is good (though not in my view as good as Paradise when they are on form), the staff is lovely and the bloody mary (important on... More

This is a very cosy, quirky, cute and relaxed restaurant with a very nice backdoor garden for the summer. If you don't want to spend a meal in company of lots of kids then don't go there, there are lots of families with kids coming for brunch or lunch. The menu is quite innovative, yet solid, the food is made... More

Always lovely staff, good beers, plenty of space in the garden. Elvis bust an unusual and welcome feature on the bar. Not had too much food here but they clearly know what they're doing. Our favourite in the area.

Eight of us experienced four hours of amazing food, wine and theatre at the chefs table. Wonderful afternoon - thank you Jesse.

This is a cool venue, the fixed-price dinner selections are pretty good value and the quality of food good (only a couple of dishes are great, such as the cured smoked salmon). Cocktails tend to include too much ice to withstand a single shot. Stick to the good beer selection. We've enjoyed consistently for a number of years and there's... More

I had booked a wake at this venue and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and drinks. The smoked salmon is divine I believe it is cured in house. The soda bread toasts are delicious. The coffee was perfect. I would go there for that alone. The clearly maintain there coffee machines and use a superb type... More

I've been here twice now. Once for a weekday lunch, which was exceptional value at £15 for 2 courses or £18 for 3 courses. On that visit we had their self described 'Garbage soup' which was lots of veg in a lovely broth. Also hazelnuts with cheese. The soda bread alongside was great. For mains a fish pie with buttery...
