Eaten here a couple of times as it is my local pub. The food is ok, nothing to write home about. Rather boring menu and slow service. As a pub it is a great place to be, good character and nice environment but as a restaurant... maybe not

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and good honest food. Couldn't ask for more from this nice traditional pub.

Phenomenal potential as a 'village pub'. Great location and building. Service always seems 'challenged' complete with strangely aggressive clientele at the bar. We waited 45mins for our roast. 40 quid for 2 pub roasts, a pint of cider and a glass of wine. I wouldn't mind the cost if it wasn't for the chronic service.

Nice range of interesting soft drinks, good ambience & service. Pretty good food. Could have done with some umbrella's on the tables outside as it was exceptionally hot. Says it is closing for refurbishment, but couldn't see a problem with current decor.

I pay a visit to the Crown and greyhound yearly, solely because we only visit pubs for Sunday roasts and Sunday roasts are rare enough in our family, but if there is a place for it, it usually is the Crown and Greyhound. We've lived in the surrounding area (Herne Hill) for years now, so maybe it if the fact... More

It's been a couple of years since we last dropped into the Dog - even though it's less than half a mile from where we live - because, let's face it, why would you? Perhaps you are the sort of person who hates change in which case you may draw comfort from the same slow service, the over priced drinks... More

This is a really attractive venue. The meal we had was beautifully prepared. Was particularly impressed with staff courtesy. Great vibe which suggests a happy team and overall whole place was run efficiently and with customer satisfaction as a priority.

I booked the Conservatory area for a (suprise) 40th birthday party. From start to finish in the planning the staff were really friendly and helpful. On the night, they couldn't do enough for us and made extra efforts to ensure everyone was having a good time and we had all we needed. The food was of a high standard, and... More

Lovely, well run pub with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was amazing and I'd highly recommend the BBQ round the back. Best burgers in London!

Affectionately known as the Dog, The Crown and Greyhound in Dulwich Village is a warm and welcoming oasis away from the fast lane of London life. The pub was once two: in the olden days the Crown served the gentry, while the Greyhound housed the labourers. Today there's no such nonsense; the whole community comes together under one roof to enjoy our rather tasty range of pub food, drink and entertainment.
