The menu is varied and well structured. Great wine selection, fresh and well cooked food and a casual ambience. Perhaps a little understaffed and our waitperson was wearing far too much scent which interfered with the food.

With regards to my review in March and in response to your management review. I can confirm that I was NEVER EVER contacted by your General Manager. I would ask him or how what form of communication they used? Also there where three of us at the table and besides the waiter not knowing what items where on the menu... More

My wife and I shared the beef short ribs which were the best tasting short ribs we've ever had. Wine and service was also excellent.

On my work trip to London I was staying at the Cumberland hotel with my wife. Went out looking for a nice place to have dinner, ended up in a such beautiful venue as Vinoteca, delicious food, professionals & casual service, great wine list and what a cosy atmosphere! Definitely will be back on our next trip to London.

We did not eat a regular dinner here but head the wines flight and a plate of cheese and meat. All three were fair priced and of good to very good quality. My only critic was, that I couldn't change the crackers for bread - I'm not really a fan of the British cheese and cracker thing - and therefore... More

Two of us met for a business dinner at Vinoteca. The tables are small and close together but I didn't feel that everyone was able to listen into our conversation. The menu is quite short and we elected to eat the beef special, which was a very tender rib of beef for two. The cheese plate afterwards was a little... More

While the wines we had were really nice, the service was average. The food was okay, although the portions were not very generous. My dish was forgotten about and as a courtesy it was taken off the bill, which was nice of them. The waitress even offered me complimentary breads and almonds. I think this place is nice visited as... More

Had dinner last night w/ two guests. Overall we were very happy with the wine and food recommendations (the lamb was really good). I thought the service was very warm and friendly. Reasonably priced for London. Will definitely return.

What happened to this restaurant!! Only a three course menu available on Sunday....No Sunday roast yet it was advertised.....haphazard service....... this used to be a great restaurant but over the years it has gone down the pan......The owners should stop by on a Sunday to see for themselves. Disappointed will never ever return to many options on the street now.

Hi Marc, I'm sorry to hear about your experience. To confirm, our General Manager at Marylebone made contact with you directly shortly after you posted your feedback. We checked with the Head Chef and the menu on that day, and can confirm we offered a variety of roasts as well as seasonal lunch dishes with an option to have two... More

I've been living in this area for 2 years and I never tried this restaurant before. Delicious food, great wines especially on wine by glass with so much different style to try and a such cosy atmosphere. Want already come back. Service to attentive.

Description
Inspired by the wine bars of Spain and Italy, we serve simple yet imaginative food with characterful wine to drink in or take away. Vinoteca combines high quality, characterful wine with a selection of paired dishes created from fresh and seasonal produce.

Vinoteca Marylebone is atmospheric and unfussy, with walls of wine to buy
and great for private dining. Downstairs from the wine bar, restaurant and shop, the Marylebone Private Dining Room offers a completely exclusive space with its own kitchen, personal chef, and dedicated waiting staff.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
