Went there last Thursday with a group of friends. The waiter was really helpful despite the confusion we made to order. I got an hamburger despite it wasn't on the list. The food and beer were good and the upstairs dining room looked really cozy and nice.

Ate here on a Thursday evening with three friends. Dined upstairs which was great as downstairs looked very crowded, which suggested we were in for a good meal. Kicked-off with the rabbit terrine and crunchy haggis which was light and tasty but may have worked with slice of toast or crostini to accompany it. Next I went for the rump... More

After a poor experience last time, we thought we would give the restaurant one more chance. We had a great evening and lovely food so happy to plan for future visits now.

First time here for me and enjoyed drinks after work with some of my colleagues - they were off to a great start as they have my favourite gin, Hendricks! Great ambience - candlelit setting and some of us thoroughly enjoyed the bar snacks on offer.

It seems like every pub in England is now claiming to be a gastro pub. The Lady Ottoline is the real McCoy. The upstairs dining room is very pleasant. We found this pub on a list of the fifty best gastro pubs in the UK. Based on our meal, I would say it is well-deserved.

My second visit here and have to say that it was exceptional again, small menu but everything is done beautifully, in particular the skate with lettuce and seaweed butter. And the gins are equally as good, will be returning again and again for sure for the food and to try and work my way through the gins.

Good beer and nicely updated pub in the backstreets of Holborn. Get's busy for a reason but there is space outside. I've not eaten here but food looks good.

We had booked a table for Sunday lunch. When we arrived, there was one table left and a couple ahead of us at the bar who had just walked in off the street. They got the table. We were offered a table with bar stools which was clearly just there as a temporary stop for people waiting for a proper... More

Great place, great food, great service! A fantastic little gastropub, very cool, a bit trendy but still with a traditional touch and with lots of local customers.

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
