If you are looking for a "greasy spoon" breakfast in Kings Cross area this is the place for you. Great food, both full English type and Veggie breakfasts are great and not expensive. Happy to "customise" what you want and always great interaction with staff. One of my favourite places for breakfast. Not the Ritz - just good cheap food!... More

This is where the vegans in the office go for lunch. I had lunch here the other day and the food was really good as I was curious to see what the fuss was all about. The sanwiches and tea were very good, all fresh and a lovely pot of tea.

Cafe is typical of many small family owned cafes in london and offers the usual traditional food , offering excellent breakfasts. Quality fresh food and reasonably priced. Friendly staff.

This place is now called "Munchtime" although the old name Cafe Plaka is still on the menus. The breakfast is still good, you will not be disappointed. The Sunday morning staff did not have the same customer focus as the lovely previous partly greek staff. I had to spell through the menu item for the waiter to convince him that... More

Cafe Plaka is your typical, rather run of the mill cafe in London. The food is so-so, and service is on the slow side. The bottom line: if you're in a hurry during the morning, avoid this cafe for breakfast at all costs. Compared to other cafes in Kings Cross, we waited almost 20 minutes to receive two English breakfast... More

All is in the title. We ate there good, tasty food and the waitresses were nice. There`s art from homeless people on the walls.

We have eaten here before and I really enjoyed the scrambled egg and baked beans on toast, and had fully intended to eat this again. However, hubby in a throw away comment asked if this would be filling enough (we had a lengthy wait at the airport) and so I changed my mind. He had large breakfast and coffee £7.00.... More

Time your meal just before the midday rush! It's a small restaurant but the food and staff are excellent.
