Excellent place for a quick coffee after arriving at Euston Station, pass all the over priced chain café / restaurants and find this gem, the biggest slice of millionaire shortbread I have ever found in a café, 4 times larger than the commercial rivals! It is an oasis in the midst of busy London. The added bonus is the bookshop... More

Hello Paul, Our Millionaire Shortbread is a thing of beauty and is made by one of our social enterprise projects, DHP. The size is substantial and definitely how it should be! Thanks for your review and come and see us soon for another slice! Mark More

After a poorish experience when the cafe was undergoing renovation it was nice to get the cafe back to its normal self. As always excellent food and drink all at a very fair price indeed. Yes it's busy BUT with the above comment can you really be surprised??

Hello Paul & Paula, I'm glad you have had much better experiences since the renovation work in the café. Thanks for your positive comments about our drinks, food and price. I agree with you about how busy we have been lately. I put this down to our good food, drinks, prices and service from the café staff. I only see... More

When I saw that there was a hidden cafe I was thrilled- as the near by compettion is terrible. But then it was busy and a little confusing; queue or sit and wait? well the result was bit of both and food is clean and you keep thinking it's going to be 'alright'. So not a place for food but... Very busy cafe struggled to find a seat but search and wait was worth it. Great staff superb coffee. Cakes looked marvellous but being a diabetic I did not have those. Good sandwiches. Nice friendly place to meet friends for coffee or juices

Hello Mazza, I'm glad you enjoyed your visit and that you were impressed by our coffee, sandwiches and service. How busy we are does very much fluctuate depending on how busy our conference rooms are, but generally we have enough seating for everyone during our lunch service. Thanks for taking the time to review our café and we hope to... More

The cafe itself was very nice inside, it was very busy however and was very limited in space. The food was nice but I felt there was still not much in the way of vegan food. I do love that they make it so easy to show which food has which allergens in them which a lot of places don't... More

Hi Jessica, Thanks for your feedback. I'm sorry we didn't have many vegan options available yesterday. We had just the soup, a few sandwiches and a cake, where we would usually have a vegan hot meal as well. We were also especially busy over the past two days due to a very large conference that was occurring in our large... More

I wasn't expecting this bright spacious cafe in this building (not sure why, but we all have our preconceptions). The food looked inviting, with an array of fresh salads and quiches, alongside the hot dishes, paninis and cakes. The seating area was adaptable and friendly, with upholstered benches or sofas actually in the book shop (kind of my dream -... More

Good coffee, comfortable and nice atmosphere. Much nicer than the big echoing Wellcome cafe in the next block and I'm very happy to support the Quakers.

I have been here a few times before. Was a little disappointed that restaurant downstairs was closed for private event, but we arrived early so had lunch at smallish cafe on ground floor (restaurant downstairs is bigger) and we were very happy with the food. I had very tasty vegetarian scotch egg (would like the recipe-a lot of garlic, I... More

Thanks for you review FinchleyLass, I'm sorry our restaurant is closed at weekends though we occasionally cater for small Quaker meetings on Saturdays. Perhaps its worth opening to the public on these occasions as well. I'm glad you enjoyed your lunch in the café. I visited this Cafe close to Euston Station to collect some Quaker reading material. It is an impressive cafe and well worth a visit if you are using this station. It was good to find somewhere relaxing to sit and enjoy food and a coffee that wasn't a fast food outlet. The prices were exceptionally good as well.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
