Waited 1.5 hours for food. Came out twice cold then left. Waiting staff lovely. Kitchen staff useless.

We spent there our last night and turned out to be the best, too, during our stay. It didn't seem to offer a lot for a vegetarian like me, but gosh ... the plate I was suggested was the best vegetarian (Roasted Romanesco) meal I have ever eaten! The wine (Biferno rosso), super, for surprisingly great price. It is a... More

Lighting, music, ambience is on point. Nice and chilled place with an upmarket decor. Service professional and friendly. Food is pretty decent and wine is excellent as you might expect. Reasonable value for the overall experience. You can't go far wrong here.

Always wanted to go but never got to make a booking. We were walking down Beak street, which seems totally re-invigorated, and it looked great from the outside. Glasses, bottles, tables, the décor is very attractive. We walked in and got on the spot a table upstairs. As we came out later, people were waiting at the door but tables... More

On recommendation, we booked a table and called in for dinner after seeing a matinee show - easy to find, great welcome from the manger. There were three in our party and we ordered two meals from the set menu (Leek and Potato soup and Scottish Beef Ragu), both of which were delicious and tasty and also the Grilled Marinated... More

Beautiful location, large wines list, vegetarian dishes available, personnel very kind. Food more than acceptable, I can say good. My dish of risotto not so plentiful or abundant as a main course. Prices adequate but the wines: Valpolicella Ripasso 2013 for 46 pounds is too much.

This place is located in Soho. The wine menu was impressive. The service wasn't the best. The staff was friendly but not very helpful. If you want to drink even a glass of wine it was mandatory to buy a starter per person too...!!!

Vinoteca (all of them)used to be a stable in our wine and nibbles/dinner places we visited, but our last visit to Vinoteca on Beak St. in January. I can't help but feel that since they expanded from their original location in Farringdon, the standards and quality have really dropped. The food was quite bad and we had to send back... More

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
