A fine pub in this part part of town for an after work gathering with colleagues. Plenty of space in this large pub and it's nicely laid out and has a welcoming atmosphere. It was easy for us to find a quiet corner to sit...More

I can strongly recommend the pies here. I tried the chicken pie. They had a Swedish waitress as an extra bonus.

great for real ale and customer service, the number of different pumps on at any time is really impressive, the food is what you expect from a city pub, nice but not fantastic

Office locals will congregate any time of day. Good quality lunchtime food, separate dining area, an outdoor area for smokers at the rear with patio heaters or a seated area for those not wanting to stand. An excellent little pub for those in the know.

One of my friend from work is getting married so we decided to come here for a few drinks to celebrate. This pub has a fantastic atmosphere and a nice little outdoor area too. Definitely recommend it as a great British pub.

It's just the meat from the tail of the scampi. You won't notice any difference in taste from the other body meat of the scampi. Battered scampi is a popular British pub dish. It is one of the easiest things a pub can cook... More
