Obviously not the genuine food from Bavaria, but it gets pretty close! The atmosphere is good, food is delicious, service quick and attentive, price average. Will return again if nearby, definitely a good option if you’re hungry.

We went in for a drink at around 4:30pm. We were both very tired after a day walking around museums. We sat at a table, only to be moved because it was reserved. Fair enough. A couple of guys said we could share their table....More

Since returning from living in Germany, we miss certain things, mainly bratwurst, yager schnitzel. We were not disappointed, absolutely delicious.

Was here yesterday for a Stein of beer and wanted some food to accompany it. Went for the Currywurst option and wasn't disappointed at all.

If you like this sort of thing or just want to experience it, it is the place to go. The rating may seem harsh, but then there is little special about it, though I would still go again when looking for a very informal meal....More

Dear Karol, thanks for mentioning it. We agree that this is not acceptable. We had a staff meeting, and discussed your review. There is not an excuse for it, hence we accept the 1Star review. We hope that - after the staff meeting - everybody...More

To be fair this is a nice place. The food is okay and the beer is really nice. I have been a few times, but not since July or so. The reason being that the service is slow and just nowhere near as good as...More

Hi Coling Yep, we are working on "being back on scratch". We had a management change, and a shortage in staff, which caused ... a bumpy time.... Apologize for it, it's always good to be aware and we appreciate your comment. Hope to see you...More

Description
Bavarian Beerhouse "Tower Hill"Bavarian Beerhouse "Tower Hill" opened in May 2010. Right opposite from Fenchurch Street rail station, and just 200 feet (50metres) from Tower Hill tube station, the new venue is located in the heart of the City. Spread over two levels (street level and basement), the Bavarian Beerhouse Tower Hill has room for 300 guests. Exposed brick walls, wooden floors and modern architecture in combination with traditional and modern Bavarian design elements give the venue a unique atmosphere, both inside and outdoors. Have you noticed our pink deer head at the bar? He is called Bruno! The Bavarian Beerhouse Tower Hill was a success from day one, tripling the revenue from it's former tenant - a Pitcher & Piano - within the first month. It attracts a mixed crowd of office workers, tourists, and those who simply enjoy the authentic German and Bavarian atmosphere. Locals and residents enjoy the weekend opening hours - Bavarian Beerhouse Tower Hill is open 7 days a week. Following the success of the first Bavarian Beerhouse Old Street (founded in December 2005), the Tower Hill venue offers the Bavarian Beerhouse’s typical unique combination of excellent food, outstanding service, great German beer and fantastic rustic atmosphere. The Bavarian Beerhouse’s Owners are proud of the success: “Opening a second Bavarian Beerhouse in London proves that the British love Bavarian food, drinks and entertainment. We have already met so many local neighbours and all gave us a warm welcome.”"Tower Hill" Tube StationNext tube station "Tower Hill" (Circle and District Line) Leave Trinity Square to your left and walk along Cooper's Row. You'll find Bavarian Beerhouse after 50 metres on the left (under the railway bridge)"Tower Hill" Train station / Railway Next train stations: Fenchurch Street / Tower Gateway (DLR)
