The restaurant is located over Air Street and runs up stunning Regent Street. It is a very long, fairly narrow restaurant but has beautiful windows onto the street. The restaurant despite its shape, feels spacious and offers a very relaxing environment. Now onto the important bit. The food is not outrageously priced but is superb quality. Great selection of starters.... More

Yum yum yum! My husband and I went to Hawksmoor midweek after work. Right from the moment we walked through the door I was confident we would have a good night. Our coats and bags were moved to a complementary cloak room. We got there early and headed to the bar where the mixologist served up some cocktails based on... More

Beautiful building and Art Deco styled restaurant. Had some delicious cocktails whilst waiting for our table. The food was wonderful, service really good, and it was a very special night out. Pretty expensive, but worth it for a special treat

Group of 4 ate pre-show. Place was hopping and lively. Extensive menu and good wine list. Friendly service well delivered. Not cheap but very good steaks so worth the extra.

We visited on a Monday night and had a nice time. It was my first time and I had heard how amazing the steaks were. My steak was nice but I think for £30 I was expecting something mind blowing- which it wasn't (it was big I suppose). The staff that served us were really friendly and a credit to... More

Maybe we were expecting too much as it has been on our list of "must visit" for ages but none of us liked the casualness of the staff (you can't tell if they're staff or punters as not many people bother to dress nicely for an evening out anymore) . Collectively we thought it was somewhat over-priced 9I don't mind... More

Great setting, a very big restaurant! The craft Pale Ale at the bar was a great start and the selection of steaks, great Malbecs and lobster starter was all superb. Busy and noisy but delivers a good experience.

The best steak i have had and amazing mac n cheese and creamed spinach. Also fantastic scallops! Expensive place to dine but well worth the money. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Our cocktail order was sent late to our table (not that we had noticed) and the waiter took it off the bill as a good will gesture. Will definitely... More

Food is excellent we tried 3 types of steaks and salads. There are so many people at dinner so we waited quite long until our steaks were served. Service is good and nice ambience. Will come back again

Had dinner here with a friend on 7th of April 2017. First time here and I think it'll be my last (mainly because of the quality of food). I had heard good things from others and read the reviews online so wanted to try it for myself. The service is excellent, can't fault that, but the food did not live... More

'If a city gets the restaurants is deserves then London has clearly been a very good girl of late. [Hawksmoor Air Street] is everything you woud want it to be and quite a bit more.' Jay Rayner, Observer

Located in an Art Deco room overlooking Regent Street, the menu at Hawksmoor Air Street is equally-weighted between steak and seafood. We've teamed up with Mitch Tonks, the chef/owner of one of the best seafood restaurants in the country, to mastermind the fish side of things, not least by ensuring that we receive the freshest produce possible straight from Brixham market in Devon. Like our steaks, most of the seafood is simply cooked over real charcoal. A steakhouse serving the best fish in London? That's our aim. Close to the theatres of the West-End, we have an Express Menu that's perfect for lunch, pre-theatre and post-theatre dinners. The entrance to the restaurant is on the short stretch of Air Street between Piccadilly and Regent Street.

Air Street is the perfect space for a wide range of events including award ceremonies, film premiere parties and cocktail receptions. It can accommodate up to 235 people in the restaurant and 70 in the bar.

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
