By far, best Kobe Steak that I've ever had. You know the quality of a piece of meat by how little seasoning and prep that you have to do to the meat. Pros: - Steak and food: Some of the best quality meat and sides that I've ever had around the world. The Kobe beef literally melts in your mouth... More

Visited Mash after watching Les Miserables . Our booking was a Monday evening at 10.30. The restaurant wasn't full at all but we expected that. My partner ordered the Foie Gras to start and the bone in ribeye. He loved his starter but the steak was extremely fatty. I chose the oysters and the tenderloin. Both were beautiful. My steak... For a restaurant that bills itself a American steak house I was not impressed. Steak was 1/3 fatty and my sons was not much better. No baked potato's that would be an easy add on. Creaser salad was good but had to much dressing. The onion rings were dripping grease and I could not believe they gave them to me... More

Despite we loved the taste of steaks we ordered, I got food poisoned from my order and vomitted two times same night. My friends ordered flat iron steak and I ordered NY strip, all the steaks were very delicious but something was wrong with the NY strip and it made me sick. On the other hand the restaurant was really... More

A Nice little gem hidden in Brewer Street excellent choice for steak lovers. Food was expensive but of good quality. The staff were incredibly attentive and polite and dealt with any issues swiftly. I would certainly recommend this restaurant

We were here for a pre theatre meal. The large restaurant is downstairs away from the bustle of the streets. Liked the art deco interior with a mix of booths and tables. We all chose to dine from the pre theatre menu - everybody had steak with sides and they were all great. Service was very good. The a la... More

My daughter & I prebooked as we had limited time after watching a show and before our train home. The look of the restaurant & the feel was lovely. We were there early evening before it filled up and although it's a big space we didn't feel it. The booth for two had ample room which was nice. We chose... More

I am always a little weary of dark restaurants, what are they hiding. We went here for my 50th and felt it was very overpriced for the offering. Service, ambience, style etc were excellent but not sure the steak I had was the same although our fellow diners enjoyed theirs. The starter of king prawn and linguine consisted of 1... More

So... what can I say about MASH that hasn't already been said? Set on Brewer Street it looks slightly unappealing from the front and absolutely tiny... don't be fooled as when you go downstairs you realise how big it is! I think the size ruins the ambience of it (personally) as you kind of get lost in between everyone else,... More

We had a reservation for a Saturday night at 9pm for a party of 4, our table was not ready when we arrived but this was not a problem we were escorted to the bar where we ordered cocktails. We were taken to our table as soon as it was ready but sadly our drinks had not arrived so we... More

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
