This is an elegant and perfectly illuminated bar with superb views across the Thames to the Houses of Parliament. Friendly staff who can REALLY make a Martini. Ask for a window seat.

Lucky enough to be a Marriott member so able to take advantage of the canapes & drinks available in this private bar. It's only small but classy with a gentleman's club feel.

Great wine and beverage selection and you can't beat the view of the Thames and Big Ben. Tends to get busy, but the wait staff does a great job of keeping up.

Dropped in for a lunch time drink. The choice was reasonable, the service was good. It was nice to be able to sit outside on top of the boat and enjoy the view The menu looked quite good although we didn't try food, mothers seemed to be enjoying it

This bar is situated on the river's edge and has stunning views of the houses of parliament and the London eye. It is a beautiful place to sit as the sun goes down and London starts to light up. The staff are polite and efficient. The best thing this bar has going for it is that it serves Curious Brew,... More

The server said something to the effect that the bartender was excellent, and he was. I went here a couple of times during my last visit. It is quite a nice hotel bar.

Staying in Southbank

Neighbourhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
