Recently had dinner at this restaurant with friends and couldn't really say anything bad about the food or service as it was all good. The restaurant décor was easy on the eye, service was very good and the food good. The restaurant wasn't busy so was able to have a conversation with our friends, which is not possible in some... A very elegant restaurant on Ebury street. The service was impeccable, the olive oil and the bread absolutely first quality. The carciofo santini a definitely "must'. The special of the day was well prepared and delicious. There is also a befitting selection of wines. A favourite of mine when in London.

For a modern italian it is somewhat ironic that one of the best dishes I have eaten here is ceci soup. Bean soup with pasta as a classic contadini dish but costing top dollar. Overall the restaurant is expensive and having tried it three times in the last six months it could do with being more consistent in the kitchen... More

After a very long day of touring Westminster Cathedral and Tate Modern, we found ourselves hungry and in need of dinner. Our hotel concierge recommended this place as having good Italian fare. It didn't disappoint us. It was a short taxi ride from Westminster, and that was perfect after a long day of walking. We were seated at a booth... More

Called the restaurant to make a lunch reservation. Took 10 rings to answer the phone, then, once answered, asked me to hold. I did, and timed it: four and a half minutes. Then, wait for it, they asked "if I could call back in 5 minutes as they were really busy". I will NEVER set foot in this restaurant again.... More

I went here this evening many years since my last visit. The starter was lovely, Tricolour Treat, and the bread was very fresh. I was however very disappointed with my main, Agnello, which was overcooked with no hint of pink to the meat at all. My main was also served a good few minutes before my side dishes arrived, which... Stopped for dinner as we were looking for somewhere to eat dinner. Walked in nice welcome. Got a table service was nice. Staff seemed friendly. The wine started at about £38. Seemed way overpriced to me. Food was nice. Well presented. Great music and vibe. Nice bar area although we never sat there. Would probably try somewhere else local before... More

I went to Santini for lunch with my daughter. The food was excellent (although expensive) but the service was disappointing. Staff appeared miserable and they were inattentive. Having said that the food made up for it. I had liver and my daughter had sea bass both great.

they have a nice bar area where you can sit which makes this place good for drinks too I guess. we sat in the restaurant and had the burratta and calamari appetisers -- two dishes. wow, great. the burratta was creamy and fresh. the calamari was lightly fried and was tender. you can get calamari as a main or a... Had a pleasant lunch at this exclusive place. Their seafoods were absolutely great. Had a Dover Sole dish and it was the best Dover Sole dish I had before. Had a bowl of Minestrone with bread and it was even great especially in cold weather. Definitely wish to revisit

Description
"Definitely a place to be seen. Owner Gino Santini serves up fabulous Italian flare. Elegant and sophisticated restaurant with a newly refurnished cocktail bar where diners can also enjoy a lighter meal if they prefer. Menu highlights include seasonal salads, homemade pasta such as spaghetti with fresh lobster and papperdelle with artichokes and a range of fresh fish and meat dishes."

Staying in Belgravia

Neighbourhood Profile
Belgravia
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
