Just had dinner there. I feel like the food wasn't as great as the score shows. 1. The 'pan cake' is slightly burned on both sides, but it seems this is the way to cook it. 2. I ordered the squid, salmon and prawn 'pan cake' and thought it would be healthy, then saw the staff put a lot of... More

I was here with a friend of mine at his advise to try what he had proclaimed as the best okonomiyaki in London. I've been to London many times before and tried local Soho asian places but never this one. I never had okonomiyaki but as far as I can tell the experience was nice even tough you'll pay the... you can taste all of the pure flavors in there dishes. we always choose different things from the menu and so far we liked every one of them. so we will be back again. tip1:ask for there fairtrade cola. tip2: there is no extraction of air in the restaurant so at the end your clothes smell a bit.

Super tasty Japanese food, quite different than any other Japanese I've been before. Their specialty are Okonomi-yaki's, a kind of omelette that they cook in front of you on the grill located at the middle of the table. There are plenty of variations, with fish, seafood, veggies, cheese, etc. Really original and tasty! Side dishes are also good, especially the... More

Staff were friendly and food was authentic. Especially for my daughter, it was a new experience (her dinner was cooked in front of her)and she really enjoyed her Okonomiyaki. We had a splendid time there. Definitely go back and recommend to everyone.

We joined the queue as told but there are no systems of allocation on first come first serve. Very much dependent on a " untrained manager" named Mathew who bosses the staff around and also directive what to come out from the kitchen. He was very arrogant in the service simply the place was quite full.

No queue and table management. 3 people cleaned the same table without finishing the job to enable our party of 4 to sit. Meanwhile 2 parties of 3 and 2 behind us seated themselves with approval from the person managing the queue. No attempt at all at service recovery when pointed out to them the queue jumping. The staff were... More

It was my third time at Abeno Too, I needed to come up with a place that was fun, relatively cheap and cheerful for a second date, and I knew this place wouldn't disappoint. It was a Sunday evening, so quieter than a Fri or Sat night, which was perfect given I was ravenous. This is a place where you... More

Myself and my partner have been to Japan and we had many Okinomiyakis out there. In fairness, I truly believe no food is as good as the country it originated from and is still being made there today. Pros: - friendly waiter who was half Japanese and so it was nice to chat about Japan while he was making our... More
